    Subtle or Strong?

    ~~
Just something I've been wondering. Do you folks prefer a milder snus with subtle tones? Or do you prefer a snus that has big, in-your-face flavor? Most of us split it up a bit, but which would be your larger preference?

I like both. I snus when I want clean and subtle, like a nice wine. When I want strong, I go for moist snuff or nasal snuff like a good Kentucky Bourbon.

I like subtle. I get sick of in your face flavs pretty quick.

I prefer a distinct flavor and most of those are considered strong but only plain tobacco for the most part.

I prefer "plain," tobacco-forward portions, but I work them hard for flavor/drip and if I didn't want to preserve at least a little sensitivity to nicotine in my maintenance regime, I'd be a constant sterker. That said, it's surprised me to find Ettan White becoming my everyday snus. It just seems to smooth out and extend the Ettan flavor, drawing subtlety from subtlety.

I voted strong, but I like them both equally. If I only had 1 snus, it would be Gotland Gul, and I consider that strong flavored.

I chose subtle. I usually don't like to be floored by strong flavor. As a matter of fact, I'm not the biggest fan of "flavored" snus. My favorite so far has been Offroad Choco-Rasberry, and that's not even that strong.

1 vote for robust, seems more fitting for what I'm after with regard to straight tobacco flavors. How's that for a corny response?

I like my subtle flavours more. Some of the strong ones are good, but sometimes they just hurt my throat after a while.

Both have their place of a day.
Ettan or GWG or N&J Black, the time and the circumstance dictate the subtle or the strong.

I prefer los and original portion snus, since I prefer a bold, fast-acting delivery of flavor. Most people who use white portions prefer a subtle flavor, since it takes longer for the characteristics of the tobacco and flavorants to develop.

Poll is running pretty close. Personally, I have to have heavy flavor. It's for that reason that I've abandoned whites with the exceptions of General Sterks and Catch Euca-thols. If I can't taste it well, it doesn't do much for me no matter the nicotine level.
