Gen. Bulletproof, Can or can container?

the description on the swedish match site says,

"FYI: The Bullet Proof Can comes filled with one can of General Onyx."

sounds like its a can container/holder?

Someone who has one can tell you more definitively, but I think the snus goes directly into the container, not a container holder.

it holds the whole can, if I'm not mistaken, just like the icetool variations of snus containers. I imagine you could dump the snus right into, though....

actually, upon closer inspection, it DOES have a can inside of it... haha... i prefer the icetool tin, the lid fits better/tighter on the icetool tin..

I was a bit disappointed when I recieved the General Bullet Proof can. I guess I was expecting it to be a bit more "classy" like the Icetool can. After just a few hours with it, it hit me, this IS a cool can! It's rugged, it's military,,,,,.hell, it's bullet proof and it looks like it!

            edit.
yes, there is the bottom of an Onyx can inside.
I'm a General whore, so I had to have one

You can see the can in action here.

at 5:32 you can see me lift the can of onyx out of the bullet proof can.

My icetool can lid is not as tight as the bullet proof can lid.

that's odd... the paint on my bulletproof can label started chipping, so i peeled the sticker off.. it's a pretty sweet black can now, i might put a bit of electrical tape around the inside to make the fit tight

They should give these away at the USO and other military places. It would be great publicity to have someone get shot with one of these in your pocket and have it save their life. That happened with an ipod, it caught a bullet and saved some dude's life. Would be great publicity if it was a can of general lol.

I have an entire post about this, but i'll share it here as well.

My bullet proof tin arrived all scratched up. I was pretty bummed as i've been wanting to get one of these since Christmas time. I complained to buysnus about it and they are sending me a new one and told me to keep the old one for compensation. Almost makes me feel bad for complaining!

Other than all the scratches on the front and back, it's a pretty cool tin. I probably wouldn't carry it as it's pretty heavy, but it looks cool on my desk.

That's cool about the ipod. It's not a bad idea, and if the bulletproof can did stop a bullet, and it was someone who had already used snus to stop smoking, the tag line could be "snus saved my life twice!"

It is worth pointing out the disclaimer that is printed on the bottom of the can.

This can is intended for use with snus only. This can should not be used as or in lieu of bullet proof vests or similar items and we encourage only responsible, legal use of firearms

That's to prevent idiots from "testing" it out. There's better ways of having a ballistic resistant vest than hanging $40 snus tins all over yourself :^D

                              Got mine today!

(for those of you keeping track, i got back on after trying the general extra sterk and skruf extra sterk)

Cool can - in perspective, it's not so much heavy, but does have a nice heft to it that feels quite nice.

one complaint that I have is that the bottom part (the outside) has a few dents (read: you'll see them if you look for them, and a few that's just plain noticeable) on it. looks more like a production mistake than shipping. a bit bummed out about that part - ended up taking off the bottom sticker since the glossy part really brought them out in my eyes. the top sticker is staying on for now.

as for the lid issue - my lid didn't stay on very well, but i noticed that the can inside might have something to do with it. Took out the can, and with a little twist, the thing locks pretty snugly. tight enough that i don't have to worry about it. anyway, pretty happy with the purchase - ended up ordering the carbon fiber onyx just to round out the collection, lol. better than the plain steel ones available widely, i thought. can't wait til that one arrives!
