Pinch from the can, drop onto tongue, tongue push under lip = massive nicotine rush, and immense flavour. fast way to enjoy lös.

Pinch from the can push under lip= faster delivery than handbaked more flavour.

Carefully handbaked = slow release of flavour slow release of nicotine and takes time to bake.

So now I have opted to hillbilly it all the time now. quick and no fuss and full flavoured. Tongue baking is also great.

Got a friend (i havent tried it yet) who take the lid and digs the snus with and then puts it straight in....no "dirty" fingers or anything....must take some time to get used too, but hey, might try it tommorow, when im all sobber!

any one tried that?

So just now I opened the tin for the first time in a couple weeks, remembered saying that, and grabbed a little pyramid pinch like I would with any other snus. I packed it on my palm a little, got it into something that looked like it would hold, raised it up to my lip, and the whole little wad broke up onto fine crumbles and fell right out of my grip until there was nothing left when it got to my mouth. Snusdog, how do you use it?

Wet your fingers first and it won't stick to them and will be generally a lot less messier.

I got some Gellivare Landstroms out of the fridge. This stuff is a bitch to handbake the snus goes everywhere all over your hands.

Pinch straight from the can no problem at all.

Ive had no problem with gellivare of landströms when it comes to getting a good prilla. Only problem is thats its messy. It gets all over you hands and fingers. treating it like a can of copenhagen snuff works ok, get a pinch, put it in, get another pinch put it in, etc. It stays together for me really well, but I am only one person.

The mess is what i meant by it being a bitch to bake. This is probably the finest ground snus I have come across.

But i can pinch it just fine without making a mess. If i bake it, it gets all over my hands.

But this snus is really tasty.

bonuses to out of the can snussing for me:
-i use less snus...when i hand bake it's always too big but i throw it in anyway.
-the prila doesn't effect my speech...a hand baked prilla gives me a speech impediment
-less noticeable

I've been kinda sorta handbaking(I did it with dip a little bit too), but This has inspired me. Updates as they arrive.

Ok, did alot of thinking(probably more than need be), and reading this forum.

1- I just opened a can of skruf loose.

2- Used my thumb, forefinger and middle finger to pull out a pinch like one of those win-stuffed-animal claw machines. 3 FINGERS. that's the key.

3- GENTLY(the first time it just exploded), pressed it together.

4- With my other hand, opened my lower lip on the left side.

5- Lowered it directly left of center(if you feel in your mouth, it's "deeper" left or right of center, at least in mine)

6- Closed my lip on it.

7- Pressed it down, gently, with my tongue.

...Already feeling a quick hit, hope it will last a while. My biggest problem with loose in the past was mudslides, and I lower lipped portions too. I just don't think I'm physiologically made for upper lipping, so be it. This pinch of snus is totally off my gumline, not producing excess saliva and...working. So I'll roll this way for a while. Give it a try if you're having troubles.
