Is there a particular reason why American online shops (Getsnus or Clubsnus) doesn't carry this brand of snus? I was considering ordering this from buysnus.com and the thought just crossed my mind.

I just don't think it's as popular as some of the other SM brands. Also, since it's available only in one flavor version (with mini's of course, as well), it doesn't seem to have the widespread market / taste blanket that brands like General have (available in multiple strengths, portion types, loose, etc). I could be wrong, but it seems like this would be a logical and practical reason for retailers, especially smaller ones based in the US.

I never tried this particular brand myself, just buy reading the reviews and the taste description, It seems to be up my ally.
I understand that it is made by Swedish Match and it seems to me that if GR#2 is marketed here, why not Tre Ankare? Just toying with the thought. I guess if I wanted some bad enough, I could get it (for now anyway).
I did request this w/getsnus.

Not available. It only comes in white, and mini white. Tre was the first portion snus made. I believe it started out as a regular portion, then they switched to white portion at some point.Originally posted by AtreyuKunI'm gonna get myself some Tre Los before all is said and done. Really see how it compares.
I love that strong tobacco taste much more than the candy stuff I've tried.

A quick Google tells me 1977. They probably didn't want to injure their big names in case portions didn't catch on. Tre Ankare was a portion from the beginning.Originally posted by Veganpunk
