    Lucky Strike Loose>R.I.P.?

I was talking with a friend in Sweden and he said that LS Loose isn't going to be produced anymore. Can anyone verify this?If this is true, what a drag,it is one of the better offerings in the loose category.

So hmmmm, the overseas Lucky Strike seems to be known as one of the best snus there is to Americans that have tried it, yet here in the US we can not get it due to the name conflict. So then I would imagine that it doesn't sell well overseas if they are going to discontinue it, yet they can't sell it to those that want it, here in the US.

Jeez I love when things make complete logical sense. LOL.

I would also assume,if true it's based on sales.I was looking for to see if anyone had heard this. And the statement about not being able to get it here,if you know people out of the country it's not so hard to acquire.

But not enough to account for enough sales.

Problem for any non Swedish Match brand. You aren't gonna break in a snus in Sweden. If you aren't General, or maybe Ettan, most no one in Sweden is gonna use you.

It is gonna have to be the international market that carries you. Can't sell it here in the US kinda cuts a whole bunch of potential money out. So not surprising to see it discontinued. Wouldn't even be surprised to see the whole lucky strike line go the same way one day soon.

Maybe then they can reintroduce it under a new name and try again.

They should have renamed it "Lucky Snus", made the logo design different, and been able to sell it everywhere.
