I was scrolling through the snus available to purchase at BuySnus.com in hopes of finding a brand I have not tried yet. I feel like trying something new. Has anyone tried Granit? And if so, what's your opinion?

It's sort of an alternative to general and diplomat...it's in that basic family of flavor but it is still quite unique. I prefer it over diplomat (but i've only tried portions in granit and loose in diplomat).

I only tried Granit loose and indeed, it's kinda like General.
The nic is the same but I think the taste is a hair milder IMO.

I think I'll get a can of the maxi portions with my next order. I've just gotten so used to the feeling of loose under my lip that regular portions kind of leave me feeling like something is missing.
Sad that they discontinued Grov Maxi. I have an old tin in the fridge and I got it out yesterday to see if the maxi size would be more fulfilling in situations where loose wouldn't really be practical. It was nice. If they still made this brand, I'd definitely buy a few cans to have around.

I'm consuming a tin of Granit Maxi portions I received in a BuySnus mystery roll. I think I like it, but so far I've only had two. I have noticed that there seems to be a basic component of the F&L tobaccos that I like. I've tasted it in Metropol, Diplomat and now Granit.

if you like granit portions, offroad original strong portions taste very similar. the citrus taste is anyway. the tobacco taste of offroad has a bit of a tangy bit to it...reminds me of something in skoal. not a bad thing though in my opinion, even though i hate dip now.

Ok, had the granit loose. I'm loving this stuff. Awesome lemon/citrus flavor. Very crisp but not 'sharp'.
This will be a regularly ordered snus for me.

I've never tried loose yet. I would be interested in hearing from anyone if the flavor differs as well, on any brand. I have a tin of Roda Lacket loose on order. (bake training hehe)
I suppose I could just go commando, but I had enough of that when I dipped Copenhagen. I don't really wana look like a dentist experiment gone wrong anymore. :P

From Fiedler and Lundgren here we have Granit Strong Portion with a taste of pure tobacco and a hint of bergamot and pepper.
I find these original portions pleasantly moist and they sit comfortably under my lip. ...-
