Have you ever met someone that did snus in real life?

Back when I was younger and lived in Sweden it was common place,
but then I moved to America and in the last 11 years i have not ONCE met someone who imported snus or even knew what it was!!!

Is it that all the American snusare are Swedes living here in America, like myself?

Although its becoming more common place now that they are trying to push it here. (But i wouldnt consider Camel Snus to be even close)

So have you ever met anyone that out of the blue just pulled out a tin of good swedish snus?!

I haven't, but if they don't flaunt their use, I wouldn't know, unless I saw a can. Never met anyone that did nasal snuff either. When I 1st met my guitarist, he had a tin off the US Camel, but he said he got it free, and didn't like it, preferred to smoke, and just used it to put guitar picks in.

Only person in real life that I know is VeganPunk,and he doesn't really count since he's on here. I haven't seen anyone at all. I've had to educate people who work in so-called "tobacco shops".

No, but a steady supply of General goes out of the tobacco shop near me. I went in there a few times before I started hoarding.

My Swedish colleague and Swedish dentist (but that was to be expected) and a Norwegian documentary producer on a flight a couple of years ago. So mostly Scandinavians / Norwegians.

Aside from Camel snus, just my wife's cousin. He was doing it off and on, not sure if he still is.

Maybe 5 months ago, I was at my local cafe and a guy suddenly blurted out, is that snus????

He was a young guy. Turns out he had done a year abroad in Sweden and had picked up snus using snus there. It was so cool though finally meeting someone who understood. We talked for a few minutes about our favorites, how shocked he was to see someone else using it. I even tried to pimp out Snuson.

But I remember thinking just how cool it was that I finally met someone else in person who used too.

No, I haven't (Swedish Snus). I have run into a ton of the Camel "SNUS" users though.

I know a few people from Germany, Sweden, and Spain that use snus. The vast majority use General Original or White.

I know of no one who used snus before I started. But now I know 2 others that do (because of me) and one other considering it.
