Why do all the V2 products suck? I haven't yet developed a preference but really have enjoyed Ettan, Grov, Roda, General, Knox and Skruff stark. But haven't thought much of any V2 product. My most recent attempt, Offroad cranberry was no better. The V2 stuff has pleasent flavoring but none actually taste like tobacco. So I lower lipped the Cranberry today, which helped and I detected a slight note of tobacco!

I like alot of the V2 made snus. Thunder OP is my no1 snus. I also like Offroad OP. Odens ESOP is great(though they are secretly made by V2), and the Offroad Los is generally liked by most. So, while some say their portion material can be rough, though the ones I have had recently have not been, I don't think V2 suck at all. Pluse they are active on the board and listen to their customers.

He could be talking about the portions. I've been a hater of V2 portions for quite awhile, but the lös is a completely different snus. I don't think I've had a more dramatic difference between products from any other company.

Weird... in northern EU everyone knows snuff as sniff tobacco.

Must be something like US system of measurement - completely different than rest of the world.

Well i have been using Roda Lacket pouches exclusively for my trip to mexico. I just wish the swedish snus was a bit sweeter and it seems to me to be 'hot' and so for a change now that I am home, I opened a can of redman straight and am dipping again.

Isn't snus just Swedish for "snuff"?
In the US we have Scotch Snuff, dried ground tobacco, and moist snuff, fine cut and long cut, and some brands, like Copenhagen, and Grizzly have a product simply called Snuff, which is a fine cut moist snuff.

 Thank you so very much for this bit of information. I think you have just opened my door to winning approval for keeping my "snuff". See, the fiance has accepted my "Snus" habit but has put the clamps on my "snuff" habit. Now I just have to figure out the best way to break this too her so I don't lose all my privileges and rather gain some.

I don't see how ettan tastes like cope. Cope tastes like a dirty boot. Ettan has a sweeter tobacco taste (which in itself is a bit bad), but it is tolerable. I've done cope once, and it was horrible imo.

I've tried Phantom Brown, Blue, Offroad Original and Offroad Cranberry, all los and to me they are all the same. I taste pleasant flavor of whatever additives are used, but none taste like tobacco. I've only had one can of each and just started on the Cranberry and the brown was several weeks ago, but that is the way I remember it. I lower cheeked the Cranberry and that helped.

Could be me, I have difficulty pulling out subtle flavors others say are sometimes present, like "prune" in Roda? But I taste great tobacco flavor in Ettan, Roda, General, Grov, Knox and Skruff Stark and from the very first pris.

I wish it weren't so. With Swedish Match's near monopoly, I have a soft spot for any competition. But I think I'm done with V2. Do they make anything with a dominant/strong tobacco flavor?

                                Maybe Thunder Original Los?
