    Gotland Gul Or LD

    Which do you prefer?

I'm voting Gotland Gul. It's a little more complex, and has an evergreeny note to it. I love LD though, and I alternate tins with the Gotland for my citrus fix.

Damn, interesting comparison. Haha. I'm going to go with LD. I like the other, but it's not my cup of tea.

I prefer the grind of Gotlands but the bitterness kills it for me.

Gotlands Gul by a long shot.

I just don't get the love for LD. I tried the lös but have to say that I wasn't all that impressed. Tasted a bit like a General clone but with none of the complexity i.e. bergamot/citrus without the peppery notes.

More worrying was the fact that the wife actually asked what I was using as it made my breath smell (something she has never done with any other snus, even starks).

Having said that I wouldn't call it a bad snus, it is just not something that I would buy again. If I am in the market for a General clone I would pick Granit over it any day, especially the lös.

I've reordered Gotland, haven't reordered LD. Nothing about it stood out.

LD all the way. The Gotland is nice, but not one I can use a lot of.

              Gotland Gul los.

I really was not impressed with L D los. I liked it, but I don't think that it's a contest between these snus. The Gul has a complexity that is hard to find while managing to taste and smell natural. It also has a pertty awesome grind.

It's ok, I know I'm a fanboy for the gul and will pick it every time. What I feel for the Gotlands Gul goes way beyond the boundaries that contain love...

I'll go with the LD. The Gotland was too strong flavored for me to use continuously.

I'm actually a bit surprised at the results. I expected the Gotland to have much more of a lead. I was hesitant to place them together, but it looks like it was a good pairing.

thats only ld black. regular ld is very bergamot flavored.

i am not sure i made the correct choice, after having finally gotten into handbaking most of the time, and opening a can of gotland which i havent had in a while, it is like ridiculously difficult to bake. i made a pris, but it took me several minutes. so now i guess im back to my icetool crutch, which is fine i guess.

Gotlandssnus' foundations are built on three generations of snus experience, with the first snus on Gotland being produced in 1741. Using Alida tobacco, grown on the island of Gotland, in every one of their snus brands gives their snus a unique flavor that can only be found in Gotlandssnus.

Gotlandssnus is also the first ones to create a Christmas time snus, Julesnus, that's been a favorite since it's inception in 2003. Below is a list of the brands they produce
