I've found Gustavus to taste very similar to Grov. It's a little more subtle I think.

I love the Gustavus Original portions. It's a consistant brand in my rotation. I've found that I do like the Gustavus Classic portions in the gold can, too. It's flavor is a sort of regular tabacco flavor, but it's not plain or earthy. It's more of a salty seasoned taste, but not overpowering like the Classic portions. I've been including a single tin of loose snus in my last few orders. I decided to throw in a tin of the Gustavus loose in the order I'm waiting on. Hopefully this tin won't have a cracked lid like the tin of General loose did on the last order. Can's wait to bake some fresh snus. Can any of you other Gustavus fans tell me how well the loose bakes?

I found it to be quite a bitch actually. it's a rather coarse snus.

Just got another new shipment in and boy am I happy. I posted this on the Gustavus thread because I've just recently gotten into snusing Loose alot more(because of General Los, yum) and this new order had my tin of Gustavus Loose. I have to say, I am pretty impressed with the Gustavus. It reminds me of General as far as texture, but its sweeter and more aromatic. For me, it's still second to General(loose and portions), but I still enjoy the heck out of it. The only problem is I only got one tin of it, yikes. I'll be stock piled with General and Gustavus portions, though. I'm definitely getting into the whole Loose snus thing now. Just not in public places.
