Well I had to write a post because in the one year that I have been snusing I finally had a portion snus break open while I was using it.

I have to say. It reminded me of having a Copenhagen chew in my mouth and it was all over the place. Not a good wake up call at 630am at work. Then to top it all off I only had hot tea to rinse out my mouth with.

i think the wintergreen oil must act as a solvent for the glue, because that seems to happen to me only on wintergreen.

I've had that happen with Catch Eucalyptus, and I think it works through the same mechanism, where the menthol acts as a solvent, and loosens the gum seal.

That was my first thought. It's happened to me a few times with that brand. Never pleasant.

Ps: I tried the General Wintergreen once and it reminded me of Wintergreen Altoids I bought the last time I was in the US. The love for wintergreen must be a cultural thing..

I love wintergreen but not in my snus. Sometimes I like one of the general wintergreen portions but I like the burn.

to a lesser extent so do the portions that use the black material.
