NJ Black is the best snus I have ever snussed!! I am so excited that Northerner is carrying it in their american warehouse. No waiting 2 weeks for it get her via swisspost!!

Finally cracked open my tin of N&J black yesterday from way back when Northerner was giving the free can with orders. Had it stored in my fridge.

My impressions are its a knock-off to General Onyx. Not necessarily a bad thing as I do enjoy Onyx, however with that said, I finally had to taper off Onyx for awhile as the citrusy flavor starts getting to me after regular usage. I swear if you blindfolded me I likely wouldn't know the difference between the two at this point. :?

I dislike the N&J Black. I had high hopes for it but I pick up a vague dusty taste on the portions which fades after a while. I suspect it is the black portions because I also find it with Onyx.

Wish SM had just opted for a standard white portion instead. Don't see the point of the black portion material at all. Makes no difference to me in terms of how the portion feels.

I'll stick to the original N&J. Still one of the best out there.

I have 2 portions of Thunder Blue left, and when those are gone, I'll open my N&J Black. As long as it's not like Grov Black, which I hated, I hope I like it, I do like Onyx.

It's not like the Grov Black at all. To me it was a poor mans N&J Strong.

I have yet to try N&J black. Onyx is my joint, and if it's anything like that then I'll be happy.
Got a can of N&J strong in the freezer, haven't had that stuff since my very first order (ahhh, memories).

I tried this and I liked it, but I still prefer the Original. Then again, if some boneheaded marketing droid hadn't decided they should stop making Nick and Johnny Los, that's quite literally all I'd use ever.

That being said, I find myself using Onyx a lot because I dig the texture and the feel of the portions on my gums, and of course these have this going. I'll probably end up getting a roll.

I don't like it as much as the Strong. The anise flavor really stands out to me and covers some of the nice tobacco flavors that I like in the Strong. The portion material feels a little fluffier and thicker when I first put it in but I can't notice any difference after a few minutes. The color is a little better than white IMO.

I am interested in trying the Grov Black.

Seriously I've heard this mentioned before and I don't taste any anis whatsoever in this. :? It really just reminds me of Onyx's sister.

Did you ever try it dog? I think we started about the same time, a few months after it was discontinued. At least we signed up here at the same time, but your creepy ass just lurked for months lol. Man I might hack off a nut for some N&J los. Never tried it (the snus, not the nut job).
