    General wintergreen

I like this stuff but I am tired of the portions opening in my mouth, happened with three tins in a row. Is there another snus that tastes as good as this?

      ROFL!!

I think most snus would be a disappointment if you consider General wintergreen the epitome of snus craft :^D You could try the Offroad wintergreen offerings, but I imagine General's much better.

General's wintergreen is a bit different than others. Probably won't find something that is similar.

Just need to learn not to mess with the pouches too much. I have a can of it from time to time (free cans from getsnus), and I've never had one rip open on me.

I love General Wintergreen. I also love Skruf Stark portion, Thunder Frosted, Oden Licorice, all the Generals, 01, 02.

I have never had one break on me though, and I usually keep them in for 3 hours and play around with them a lot.

OK, I get it, not everyone likes this snus. There are a few that I don't like, anything Catch, Mini Mints, Gotesborg Rape, etc. Others have complained about the portions opening their mouth as well.

So, back to my question but rephrased.............does anyone who likes General Wintergreen know of another snus that tastes similar?

                  Thanks

I would suggest giving the Offroad Wintergreen a try.

Only other wintergreens I know of is Offroad, and Thunder. There's some other 'mints' you might want to try like Thunder Frosted and possibly Elixyr Peppermint.

                        Comparable to General Wintergreen

I would have to say that I agree with most people on here. The general wintergreen is similar to the Offroad or maybe even the Thunder. I know that Thunder is very popular right now. Maybe try the mini portions and replace them more often and not have them in your mouth for so long.

Might be that they are deteriorating because of the length of time in your mouth. I have not had this issue but that could be the case.

In three tins of Wintergreen that I have had the pouches open at the ends if I just squeezed them gently right out of the tin. I have read posts that suggest that it is the flavoring that deteriorates the pouch material. General needs to address this

I've read that it may be the mint oil, which kinda makes sense, although I didn't have this problem with Thunder Wintergreen. Then again, Thunder is an original portion.

I've also had this problem with other white portions for the record(Grov White is my other everyday portion), but not right at the outset...it usually happens later on, and I'm almost done with the portion at that point.

When it comes to General Wintergreen, I'm just a little more careful about breaking the snus up in the portion before I start, and I don't move it around in my mouth so much.

I'm not a flavored fan, but I am curious of others opinions on comparing General Wintergreen to Offroad Wintergreen. How do they differ?
