Its rediculis, so many people in America have tons of this stuff, and i cant even get a single can. WTF
Taboca is slightly similar but the taste is "flat" in my opinion - much less citrus for one. MC is much more distinctive.

Pall Mall was discontinued. Anyone that has LS or Camel in the US got theirs before the ban on shipping to the US kicked in - or have been making nice to us Euro types.

Pall Mall was probably the best product that F&L has produced IMO. Reminded me slightly of Skruf mixed with a touch of LS.
interesting. i would like to try. i need to get a passport.... would like to come and visit, maybe take holiday in malmo would be nice..
i smoke Pall Mall, so it just seems natural that i should snus it too!

It was good, but I don't know if anyone has any left. It disappeared so quickly that even people who had been ordering it were caught unaware

Portions? Gotland hands down. Lös I'm not sure about. I haven't had Montecristo in awhile, but I like it a good bit. For full time use, I think I prefer Gotland; It's brighter and has more of an "all day" taste to me. If price and size were the same(and less hassle), I'd probably use more Montecristo.

yeah ill chime in, montecristo portions are not worth the hassle, the can is awesome, and they arent bad, but to me they taste like jakobssons classic. i still have a can of romeo y julieta ive yet to open.

Sorry if i startled anyone(on my first post)..I smoke Partagas lusitanias and have no problem with the delivery system but my supplier only offers MC in the bandit form. When I'm not smoking stogies I have to deal with bullshit skoal which rots my teeth.Picked up the snus habit(far superior tobacco,i have been dipping Ettan along with other cans from the Northerner). When I smoke I tend to take the butt of the stogie and put it in my lip(I like the taste of tobacco). It seems that MC has a cigar flavor(never had)and would like to try....

best bet it to google till you find a place that doesnt remove it from your cart. or get a euro pen pal to trade dip for snus.

I don't know if this will hit the spot for you, but Oden's Classic Original portions remind me a little of a cigar flavor, and they are cheap enough. For me there's a sort of sweetish waxy taste at first, but once that goes away they are not too bad.

Montecristo snus has very little in common with cigars. There's a heavy flavor way in the back that's cigar like, but bergamot is the primary flavor. Skruf stark, especially the lös would be your best bet for a natural cigar like taste.

lxskllr is correct the Cuban tobacco in MonteCristo is used as a flavoring, (not the main ingredient). My homemade snus using KY DAC has more cigar taste than MonteCristo. If you use 100% Cuban, the cigar taste overpowers any other flavoring you try to add to it.

FYI Snus also causes gum recession over time just like American Smokeless tobacco does.

Having had monte cristo Lös and portion, and romeo y julieta no2 portion I found that neither reminded me of cigars at all.

The snus is good both are similar with the latter being a tad sweeter.

However there are other brands of snus that tastes better in opinion. Give me Ettan over monte cristo anyday.
