What's your next can to open?

Nothing new. My next will probably be Gotland Gul lös. I have to clear a bunch of stuff out of the fridge though.

Well I'm down to my last few portions of Skruf Stark, so I'll probably open a Skruf White, but that N&J is taunting me.

I pulled all my snus out of the freezer, to organize them by date, as I have a mixture and quite a few old cans from 2008 I got in a trade. Sometimes I find them dried out a little, but usually fine, or fine enough, esp the white, I have also experimented with rehydration a few times too. But I was thinking, if I use these old ones first, my fresh new ones will just get old. So I decided I wanted to use my freshest ones first, and use or dispose of the old ones as needed when I get to them. I can only speak for myself, but a fresh can is the best.

Anyway, as I was going through them, in my 2010 stack, I saw a can of Offroad Original Pouch, and was going to use that next, as I like that, then I noticed on the can, it was the strong version, which I was very happy to see, as I had been curious to try this for a while, and I did not know I had it. So, I sat that one out to use next.

Again, only speaking for myself, I think stockpiling is not a good idea, as lets say you use 8 portions a day, I generally use 6, well 8 a day would make a can last 3 days, and if you had 10 cans that's 30 days, 50 cans would be 150 days, 100 cans 300 days. All this while, your cans are getting old. Now they don't go "bad", like milk, but they don't stay fresh forever. And I have about 100 cans, maybe a little less now. Once I go through my stockpile, I'm only keeping a 10 max at a time. I also find less than fresh snus portions don't feel as good on my gums.

I'm thinking of offering my old cans for something, maybe a token 1 can trade for a bunch, I'm not sure, I have over 25. The whites do seem to hold up better.

This isn't really my next can to open--since I already did it--but having cleared out a couple of cans of lös, I just opened up a nice, fresh can of Röda Lacket. It came in one of those Christmas assortments from Buysnus a few days ago, and is not destined to see the inside of my freezer.

Oh, and I did make good on opening the two cranberries. I'll take the Skruf, but so far the overall thought is that I'm just not big on cranberry snus. Licorice, now...

Man, that was a big buildup for nothing. The Great Cranberry Challenge Snus-Off of 2009, indeed. Pfft. I even wore cranberry-colored underwear the first day. (That was just a coincidence, honestly. Mostly.) What a wet firecracker that turned out to be. Sorry, Cranberry Challenge fans.

It's not bad at all, as far as the taste goes. The problem I have, and it's not a terrible problem, is getting it in place and keeping it there. It's real hard to drink anything too, I've been using a straw, even with my coffee. It seems to stay better right up front. I tried more to the side today, and it's even harder to keep it together.

I am starting to get frustrated at how fast LD White is turning on me. The Retro White is such a relief, the one snus I am guaranteed to always love. Still have a few cans left.
