well it was just plain awful for me. This used to be one of my go to's skoal fine cut wintergreen. now i can't even stomach the thought of it. anyway i'm in the process of cleaning out the freezer to get rid of my portions. it will take me at least another month before i get rid of 'em all. then general es los,portions,onyx, nj black, grov svart will be my mainstays

I get a tin of dip every few months now. I too think it's totally different type of experience but when it's done I can do without it. It's so inconvenient IMO but sometimes I bang out a bunch of it on long drives. I like the fact that there's more to do than just popping in some snus or taking a pinch but it gets old fast for me.

You can rehydrate dip with some distilled water, or any water for that matter. I've done it a few times. I bet a little cola would work out okay too.

Sometimes the nic from dip makes me feel like I'm going to puke. Especially if I've also been consuming alcohol. The last time this happened I had to take it out after a few minutes. Ugh.

I will buy a can of Skoal Classic on occasion when I'm with my dipping friends, but the discreetness of snus makes it more practical for all-day use.

I can't stomach the smell of dip since I've become used to snus. it smells like an ammonia chemical bath. The last time I tried, I couldn't get it close enough to my face to try to get the pinch in. My mouth was screaming yes but my nose said hell no.
