Well folks, today I got a wild hair in my butt and went to get a can of skoal. After the months I've been without it, i can now say I don't want it anymore. Took a fat pinch, shoved it in, 45 seconds later, my ribs and baked potato were all over the backyard. After cleaning myself up and lysoling the violated grass, that can went into the trash and I got taught a $2.50 cent lesson on why american moist snuff just cannot compare with swedish snus. Yuck!!!!!!!!

I just never liked American moist dip. I've bought many cans to see if this is so, and they always end up in the trash. The only dip I like is dry scotch snuffs, and I don't use them much, the same reason I don't do lossnus much, it's just easy and more enjoyable for me to put a portion in.

I had a different experience recently. After going several months without a "dip", using only snus, last week I bummed a dip of Longhorn Fine Cut Natural from a friend. It was really good. I did not get a huge nic buzz from it, and it was very tasty to me. But, I'm not going back to dip. That was just an experiment of sorts.

I used to love copenhagen long cut. Went back for a dip last night just for the hell of it, and the smell threw me off so much I didn't even bother. Just reached for the skruf can next to it.

I regularly use american dip and swedish snus. I see them as 2 different experiences.

I love the strength and discreetness of snus, I love the subtle flavours of snus. I like the fact that a prilla lasts a long time.

When dippin i love the in your face flavour, the sucking and spitting of juice. But yeah skoal may not be your bag, but copenhagen long cut has the most divine tobacco taste

When I quit smoking, i started using chew before I found snus. I still buy a can here and there, but it ends up drying up when I'm around halfway done with it.

I wouldn't go back to using it full time, but I do like a pinch every so often.
