Best snus and drink combination?

I think dark beers pair exceptionally well with snus. My favorite combination is Grovsnus and Goose Island Oatmeal Stout. Newcastle goes well with traditional snus too.

Yeah......good beer and snus is a match made in heaven! Although it needs to be a pretty natural tasting snus with lighter beers. Darker beers go well with heavier snusen - General Onyx and Stout works well for me....

I was a soda pig at the time so it kind of stung, but, yeah, it's garbage and of no real nutritional value.... Things went wrong when everything switched to the damned corn sweetener anyway, IMHO....

You got that right... They switched the sweetners to save money and ruined the taste in the process. Fructose ≠ Sucrose. I bought a water distiller and drink water most of the day now.

Darker beers go well with heavier snusen - General Onyx and Stout works well for me....

I'm liking that Yuengling Dark and Tan Stout but haven't had much experience pairing it with snus yet. I can see the potential though. 8)

So far I really enjoy these combos:

Skruf Stark with coffee(#1 choice, will be buying a few rolls of this stuff)
General ESP also with coffee
N&J black with coffee


basically anything without a strong flavor other than tobacco and coffee

same goes for beers, though I particularly enjoyed some N&J black with a nice dark stout. the one I tried it with was the oak aged Yeti from Great Divide out in Colorado. That's a damn fine stout.

Strangely enough the mocca coffee flavored portions do not seem to go too well with coffee in my opinion. odd, that.

Erm, you do know Dr. Pepper is quite acidic right? So it lowers the pH, therefore decreases the amount of nicotine available for immediate absorption.

Not sure that you're killing the pH with your Dr. Pepper anyway, though. Unless you have a big, floppy mouth and you're saturating the portion with drink...

I am a beer drinker and an occasional wine drinker. I like to have a thunder Frosted with a Blue Star Wheat Beer. Just my personal favorite. Its a nightly drink combo for me.

In my experience any kind of soda seems to give me a bigger buzz from snus, maybe its a placebo effect

Wow. I haven't had yerba mate in ages. It's what got me on my initial tea kick years ago, which reemerged this year. I suddenly really want some yerba mate. Man. Now I must try yerba mate and snus.
