    Just a few questions.

    Again, how do everyone!

Put simply, my mind tends to wander as I'm sitting working on classwork and a few questions came to mind regarding snus. One, is there any particular reason that snus is for use under the upper lip or is that all user prerogative? Another, is it optimal for the upper gumline to be moist before you snus? I understand that it's absorbed through the mucous membranes in the mouth, so I suppose it makes logical sense for it to be. (The reason I ask is because I unfortunately have a receding gumline and it tends to stay semi-dry up there unless I decide otherwise.) My last seemingly random question. Slipping. Is snus wanting to slip and slide a usual issue or...? I use portions, and it's forever seeming like it's trying to make a round trip around the upper inside of my mouth and down my teeth

Again, you'll have to forgive how random these seem, but when you're sitting there snusing and trying to work on major projects, your mind floats a bit. Ha. Anyways, thanks everyone!

    Long live Snus.

Snus stays in place better under the upper lip due to decreased salivation.

If anything, some people dry their upper lip before placing snus. I don't do anything special in that regard.

Some snus is more slippery than others. I've noticed Onyx in particular gets a little slimy, and can be hard to keep in place. It helps to suck some of the moisture out of the portion to keep it in 1 spot. When using portions, they're all over my mouth anyway, out of choice. I prefer to move them around, and suck on them to get more flavor.

Alright then. Makes sense. Hadn't considered sucking, honestly. Still working my way into actual Swedish snus, though so. Mental note made. Appreciate the fill in.

The reason why snus "generally" goes in the upper lip is it will generate more saliva if you lower lip it. But some folks do anyways.

I refrigerate for short term storage, and freeze for long term. You can keep snus you're using warm, but I prefer the feel of cold snus.

I have used snus frozen more than a year after it's best buy date, as good as new, fresh snus....

All my snus goes into the freezer, once opened, it stays out. Only exception is snus I use only one a day, that lives in the refrigerator.
