About ready to settle down with a flavor.

Not that I'm an expert or anything. Far from it in fact. But over the past few months, I've tried tons of snus. Right now I'm trying to get rid of most of my stuff and narrow my tastes down to just 1 or 2 of my favs and order that instead of every flavor under the sun.
My top 2 are LD White and Tre Ankare White Portions. I really want to stick with that instead of having a mess of utterly random cans strewn through the fridge and freezer. I'm thinking just order a roll of each and be done with it.
There are still lots of flavors I haven't tried yet and I will, but for now I think I want to keep it simple.
Is that something any of you that have been snusing awhile have done?

Yeah, I'm about through with sampling different snus too. I've got my 3 or 4 favs and will pretty much stick to those. From here on it'll be mostly General OP, Ettan OP, Claq Qui, N&J.

If you look to Sweden with it's mature snus market where people grow up with snus, I think that's what you find.

Everybody has one or two standards and that is all they use. For a change of pace they'll buy something different on Friday night and use it as a weekend snus to show off and use with friends but come Monday morning it's back to the old standard.

Thats true. Among me and my friends I would say 99% use the same snus day in and day out. General, Ettan, Grov and Skruf being the most common. I occasionally buy something else and my friends and co-workers thinks thats strange.

In my first year I liked to mix it up a lot but now I buy three rolls of General OP, a roll of Grov OP and maybe a tin or two of something new like 01 and 02 and one or two tins of loose and that is it. I don't know if I will ever find anything else I want to upgrade to roll status.

I'm a little strange (I think) in that I just don't care that much. No really strong preferences... the only Swedish snus I've found that I didn't like much was Thunder Blue. Oh, and I'm not as wild about minty snus but it's okay.

Other than that, they're all good, and I just use whatever is in front of me.

My standard order is now random mixes from Buysnus.com. It's all good.

My husband, on the other hand, almost immediately settled on 02 and that's just about all he uses. He tries everything I get but always goes back to 02.

It took me 2+ years to settle down. Then I did. Then they took my snus away.

Hope that doesn't happen to you. 8)

FWIW, LD White seems to be my Retro replacement. So good choice. Of course, saying that now, I am sure that is the next to be discontinued.

I'm totally not settled down, but I think it would just take meeting the right woman.

Maybe she'll even use snus! But, what are the odds, right?

My first rolls were Onyx and GBG 2. I ended up giving away a few cans to a friend because at one point snus made me feel sick. I guess I just kept it in the fridge for too long (about a month). Onyx is great, but not an all the time snus. I think my top two are: GBG 2 and Skruf Cranberry. I like fruity flavors.

                          Flavors

I ordered a roll of Granit minis and can't wait to try it but so far General OP minis and Oomph Citrus Menthol 3mg. are my favorites. I am just waiting for a machine that will let you turn a regular portion into 2 mini portions. It really sucks to pay more for less but snus is still way cheaper than smoking.

Funny, I could have sworn this was the Swedish Dating Forum.

Seriously, I haven't settled down at all. I like most of the snus I've tried, and I like to have a can or two of what I like around. So, I have a lot of cans. But why worry? I'm only three months along, just a babe in snusland.

My idea is to use up my stock, still about 100 cans, even though the empty pile is building, then keep just 1 storage bag full(24 cans) with my faves. I don't know if I'll find or want to find just one brand, but I know the ones I like the most.

Gotlandssnus' foundations are built on three generations of snus experience, with the first snus on Gotland being produced in 1741. Using Alida tobacco, grown on the island of Gotland, in every one of their snus brands gives their snus a unique flavor that can only be found in Gotlandssnus.

Gotlandssnus is also the first ones to create a Christmas time snus, Julesnus, that's been a favorite since it's inception in 2003. Below is a list of the brands they produce

I recently got a very special shipment of snus from a Swedish friend. It was 50g each of Gotland Fläder, and Gotland PLAIN!
