Ok, what'd I do wrong? (Los)

I ordered a random can of los as part of a recent Buysnus order. It arrived today -- GoatRape! -- along with the various other stuff I ordered.

So, figured I'd give the los a try.. my curiosity is getting the better of me

Popped open the tin, handbaked a lovely pris in 10 seconds flat, and inserted it way up front as I'd read was correct. Just left of center.

I have the most exaggerated Elvis lip ever now. It takes some effort to close my mouth. Don't *think* I packed it too tight, it felt (and feels) nice and soft but geez...

I may just have a girly mouth, though. The same thing happens if I fluff, flatten and fold lengthwise. Or fold and flatten, or.. yeah. Also, Gotlands portions make me look like someone stuck a golf ball under my lip.

Well, despite my apparent deformity, I gotta say I'm liking the los. It's so *comfortable*. Now I just have to find a shape that works better with my mouth.

    That is exactly correct Karanya.

My guess is you just made it a bit thicker than might be optimal for you. Of course, with los, easy to fix once you have it in, just mush it a bit.

Awesome. I was a little scared to mash it at first but then I was like, eh.. what's the worse than can happen? I'll have to rinse my mouth out and try again? Oh, darn :P

I can definitely see the appeal of los now. Clearly the next one needs to be a bit thinner, haha. Good stuff.

Would suggest to grow a snus beard to hide it, but may be a little hard considering your gender. Can probably find a fake one pretty easy right now with Halloween coming up. <-- We need a bearded emoticon

          LOL!

I'm still kind of in shock... I reloaded a few minutes ago and had zero difficulty removing the pris (which had a whole new shape once I took it out). All in one piece save a very few tiny crumbs.

I thought this was supposed to be hard! Now my husband is all disappointed that he didn't get to laugh at me when I got mudmouth!

I was making my pris too large at first too. But make it thinner and smaller, and you'll eventually know what's best for you.

If I had a good idea of just how big the diameter on the 3ml was, I might. It's a neat-looking little gadget, but from the few pictures I've seen, I got the impression I'd wind up with something much, much too large for my pathetic little girly mouth :P

Actually my mouth isn't that small but my upper lip fits more tightly over my gums/teeth than most I think. I get a pretty significant bulge from a regular portion.

The 3 ml really isn't that big. If you have a prismaster, it is about half as thick as the prismaster makes them, huge reason I love the Icetool so much

Don't have a prismaster.. I threw in that tin of los as an impulse purchase and didn't bother getting one.

I may just have to get an Icetool for Christmas, assuming the diameter is small enough. So far, I'm finding hand-baking ridiculously easy but perhaps that won't be the case with other brands of los.

The 3ml IceTool is 1cm in diameter.

I agree. You should go post ithis in Ice's suggestions thread.

Welcome to the wonderful world of los!!! It's not as hard and messy as it looks. I've gotten to where I have to have at least one pris throughout the day. I was stuck in a meeting from 8 to 6 today, so I'm enjoying one now! Try some Ettan los. It's heavenly!

It's not near as big as I thought it was going to be from all the pictures online. Here's a crappy iPhone pic with a tube of chapstick for reference.

A full size 3ml pris is about the size of a triple A battery. A "2 click" pris would be half as long. That's about right, right? Damnit I lost my icetool. Hate prismasters now, can't bake/dont want to, so I've been enjoying hillbilly pinches and odd pyramid shaped 5-second hand bakes. Working out quite well
