Portion usin' guys and gals

First, I press the portion as evenly flat as possible. Then it really doesn't matter after that, but I'd say more often than not it's seam outward.

I usually don't pay attention to it, but sometimes I do notice and place seam against cheek rather than gum.

The seam is ALWAYS on the outside/cheek part. That's just how I did it when I started, and I've never tried it another way. For some reason, I have it in my head that its the right way to do it. (Of course, it doesn't matter.)

I don't pay attention any longer, but my first week of using snus I did. One of the seams on one of my first ever portions had a tear in it and it somehow cut my lip. At that time, seams always went toward my gums. These days, I've no idea..

when i do use portions i put the seam torwards my gums i always figured if the side without the seam was touching the inside of my lip id get the nic faster(faulty logic maybe but thats what i think)...now i just fold em in half seam on the inside
