    Grov or Ettan

Ok, ive had both of these about a year ago in Los form and Ettan in both.

Ettan Los was GREAT but I tasted chocolate pudding in the portions.

I am mostly a portion user now and already have my Los staples down.

For those of you who enjoy portions which of these do you like the most and why.

Ettan White and Los I prefer over Grov. I guess it's the mild tobacco flavor I love most that I have found in the Ettan line.

Also, if you like these, I would urge you to try Goteborg's Prima Fint (los). Lkxskllr got me onto it, and it's really good.

Honestly, thats the only Los snus I havent tried.

Dont know why but I never got around to ordering it.

Mayb e the descricption or something, I dunno

Grov los was nothing special and i never liked it, Ettan Los was delicious but the portions to me at the time was just choclate pudding with no noticable tobacco flavor at all.

While ettan los was good salty tobacco.

If you´re into the salty taste, try Grov Black.
And to choose between two of the greatest snus in the world  it´s not easy....but i would say go for Grov, and try the Whites!

Ettan all the way. I can't stand Grov portions or los. Grov Black though is really really good.

I haven't had Ettan portions in forever, so I can't really compare them. Grov portion was a favorite early on, and I still like it a lot. Grov Svart is interesting, and definitely worth a try, but I can't give it a full endorsement. The flavors just too unusual, and perhaps too much for all the time use.

I haven't yet tried Ettan (but I have some on the way). Grov is very inoffensive.. it's a mild tobacco flavor, not much salt, seems like it would be very safe to use a lot of.

Grov Svart is an odd one. I think it tastes exactly like dill rye bread... the kind that has a touch of dill and plenty of caraway seeds. It's even got the slight sweetness and saltiness of the bread. I like it, but it's a bit too strange for frequent use.

I'm one of the few that doesn't care for Ettan much. I like grov.

I enjoy both Ettan and Grov. Ettan slightly more than Grov.

Both are a lös staple for me as are the white portions of both.

I think you should give the Ettan White a fair chance. Personally I think it has a more pronounced tobacco taste and less of the chocolate hints you might find in the regular portions. Just don't try and compare it with the lös. To me its a completely different snus - I can enjoy both the lös and the white portions in the same day without getting bored.

With Grov the white portions also won out over the regular portions after a year.

I think my main complaint with the regular Grov portions is that it ends up tasting vaguely like General OP without the bergamot after a while whereas the white portions replicate the lös taste fairly well.

                        Grov

Grov los. Somehow I found a place in my heart for it.

Yep. Make an Ettan vs Grov poll.

I'm curious to see what comes out on top.

Grov all the goddamn way! I agree with lxskllr about the Svart, but regulars and los are solid. It still amazes me when people say that Grov is "less salty" or "not too salty". Too me its in the top 3 for salt, and therefore, deliciousness. Ettan is boring IMHO. Sorry guys. The los is pretty good though.

So far, I like them all, with Ettan white portions being maybe the unpick of the litter.
