    Are People Freezing Discreet Snus?

I admit it. Given the current effed-up state of the State, I'm beginning to hoard snus, trying to collect my meager pennies as I can and place orders as I can afford to.

In addition to the Swedish stuff, I'm trying to load up on Discreet, which I only use on a part time basis, so even a single package of 10 might last me several days.

I had about 20 packs or so, and just got another 25 pk of strawberry in from getsnus.com. At some point should I freeze them? Even though they're presented as pretty much non-perishable?

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

I just leave mine in the fridge. A freezer would be unnecessary for Discreet I would think.

I haven't had Discreet, but I would freeze them like I do normal snus. It may not matter, but I don't see why it would hurt. Generally things keep better cold, so I'd go for that.

Oh, I'm with you. Totally hoarding.

My thoughts: Freezing probably not necessary, but also probably harmless. It just depends on what gives you the greatest comfort level, I would think.

Out of all snus (snuslike substances excepted), Discreet (and General) is probably most likely to be around, although of course anything can happen.

sigh.....and why NOT my friend?? Do I need to send you some Discreet too now???

Seriously, didn't you know with so many posts, you simply must try everything, kinda a rule.

My Discreet is in the freezer because that's where I store ALL my snus. It's bad enough already, don't want snus falling out of every crevice in my place, so corral it all in the freezer

I've thought about asking for a sample. What I would do is try 1 of each, then pass the rest to my ex to see if she'd be interested. The main reason I've held off is I don't want to waste Tom's time and money. I just don't dig minis, even if they taste good. I'd never buy them for myself as a regular thing, so that would defeat the purpose of the samples.

I'm not sure about the ex. She was getting free Camel SNUS for awhile, but she'd give the tins to me. I guess she rejected them. I don't know if Discreet would be more to her liking or not.

Just send me your address again. I'm not Tom, have a sh**load in my freezer. And who knows, i expected to hate them and fell in love.

                BUT....

You should at least try them, better for you to answer that next person's question kinda thing.

That's alright Sage. I'll go ahead and get some from Tom. If nothing else, my ex might dig them, and he'll have a new customer there. I know she wants to quit smoking, and maybe Discreet is the thing that'll help.

I'm just not interested in Discreet. They would probably join my two tins of RJR Camel snus that have one piece missing from each tin.

Flavored minis that are lower in nicotine than standard snus just aren't for me.

I am not a mini fan, or a flavored fan, but curiosity got me to request some. I found them mostly "good" flavored, but still being a mini, they just were not for me. But for what they are, I think they are very well done. I did pass them on to my buddy, who said he liked them, but evertime I talk to him he says he's not snusing, and still on cigs.

I'm not saying that you should necessarily try Discreet, but referring to it even in the same sentence as Camel is unfair.

They really are quite good for what they are, and have an excellent nicotine hit for their small size. The RJR Camel, on the other hand, is complete garbage, and not the same kind of product at all.

I was prejudiced against this flavored American snus too, before trying them. Just sayin....

I'm taking a few packs of Discreet to my gig tonight. Maybe I can interest a few (soon-to-be-former?) smokers. I gave away a pack of strawberry a couple of weeks ago.

Your another one. How freakin stubborn you are!!!

We are always posting for newbies that they should try everything. That they shouldn't let their presuppositions about what they *may* like stop them from trying things.

Bud, you have been here long enough, set a good example!! At least try the Discreet. THEN you can say you won't like it. Not until then. Simply SO different from anything you ever had, you really don't know until you try them.

And Tom makes it so easy, doesn't even cost anything to try.

So try some Discreet please. For me????

I do not believe in trying everything. I don't have to try 10 different brands of anise flavored snus to know I don't like anise flavored snus. When I want an occasional "treat" I'll grab an LD Black or Thunder Frosted. As it is, I might have 1 portion of each of those a week. I already know from experience that I like the more "natural" snus. I am also gravitating away from portions and more towards lös.

I got nothing against Discreet, it is just not what I am looking for.
