Grov and Ettan, maybe the Camel and Winston of snus.

After I finish off my Ettan los, I'm cracking into Grov los next. I can never seem to find the time to do los, though. When I'm at work, I have to find somewhere quiet to bake it, which is a pain. And when I'm home, I'm either eating, laughing with my daughter, or drinking a beer, none of which are conducive (sp?) to lossing. So my Ettan is getting down there, but it's drying out, and Ive been slowly remoistening it and trying not to flood it.

if nothing else send it my way :lol:Originally posted by KaranyaI'm a los virgin but I had a Grov portion earlier. I thought it was like General if you stripped out all the salty, bergamotty goodness. Or a less sweet Probe without the whiskey. Or 01/02 without the delightfully slim portion.
I gave one to my husband and when I asked him about it later, he'd forgotten he'd had it. He remembered later and was just like, "Oh, yeah, that one. *shrug*"
For snus with a name that translates to "rough", we both found it surprisingly inoffensive and kind of weak in the flavor department. Forgettable.
Neither of us are really into subtle, though. I suspect Ettan would get a similar response.
Back to the fridge with thee, Grov! Perhaps in a week or two.

I must say I'm biased and I love Grov. If you are new to snus just hang on to it for a month or longer and retry. Developing the taste for the subtle nuances takes some time. It is really hard to judge snus based on one or two portions, especially in the beginning. Give it some time and then use a can or two. It might become one of your favorites later.Originally posted by KaranyaI'm a los virgin but I had a Grov portion earlier.
