0102 Review thread.

Interesting.. Looks like the small long portions are meant for folks coming from Camel.. Looks like it's made to compete in the USA..
Got to say I don't like the 01 02.. It's too sterile, too much like fast food, I associate with name brands, don't know why, but I'm a Salem smoker, I drink Pepsi products, I wouldn't go to the store and buy a 01 cola, too generic.

Part of the drive in the 0102 brand is that the people surveyed when this project was being initiated were tired of brands on everything, logos everywhere, the commercialized world.... so the 0102 approach was to keep it simple. to avoid that.

this was designed for simple and effective solutions for people to make choices. it's part of the simplicity of the line.

I can see where you're coming from but at the same time feel drawn
to the stark simplicity. No catchy name or fancy can ... playing the
same tired worn out game everyone else is playing. It's like someone
at Swedish Match said:

"**** it ... doesn't have to look good or sound good ... it just needs to kick ass and take names when it hits the lips. Fire those marketing pukes and let this one ride on its own merits."

Kind of ballsy to me and bound to give the great snus-tree a good shake. (sure to be some choice nuts dropping out of that one!)

The name also lends itself to future recipe tweaks without having to change
the name .... 01 ver.2 or perhaps 02.1.703 build af12h7.
We're talking INFINITE possibilities!

I wouldn't be surprised if other SM flavors were released in the line (ie: General 03, Roda Lacket 04, Ettan 05 etc...)

Left to right:
Ettan, Kronan, Roda Lacket, GoteRape, General Wintergreen, Tre Ankare, and 02.

A 02 portion on top of an Ettan portion. You can see it's slightly thinner than Ettan.

I have a few questions:

How would you rate the comfort level? (excluding the pouch material itself)

Do you even notice there is a portion in your mouth while using 0102?

Is the pouch visible when you smile?

Does the portion size affect your speech less than regular-width portions? Sometimes I speak with a slight lisp when I have a portion in.

Is the sachet material thicker than traditional portions?
