Think I have about 6 open in the fridge right now, there's a couple on the desk plus Discreet packs, a couple in the snake room, and more Discreet in the bedroom. So the open stuff is pretty much scattered around the house...means less walking to grab one :P

      WOW !!!!

Thanks for all of the great insight and tips . I plan on taking notes as I go , thats a good idea . It would be pretty easy to get confused trying out so many .

      Thanks again . 8)

I opened mine according to group. It was hard, but I ended up still having 7 or so open when I first got my big order. I open a fruity one, a traditional white, traditional reg, mint, mini reg, mini mint. Something like that. I never know what I'll be craving, so it's good to have a variety without necessarily opening every can.

sage i think your method is defiantly on point as always.

i do it like this...i work three 12 hour days in a row each week and 1 6 hour day, same day every week not much changes. right now i just got a new order with some stuff that i wanted to try based on peoples opinions and so on..so i arranged them in my freezer bags as things for emergencies that i either know i dont like at this time, or like enough to use in a pinch.the second bag is strictly starks or extra stark. and the third is regulars that i either know i like at the time or things that i havent tried yet. now..at work i will take something i know i like at the time..useally a non-flavored and a flavored, specifcally ettan as i know i can use all day without problems..and one i havent tried and work with it during the day..or no lose situation.. today is it gr2 which is awesome very smooth.. and yesterday it was flader which i couldnt stand..fridge wise i have atm 3 starks as i pick off them from time to time.. and some flavored that i like
the things i just cant stand go in the freezer for a pinch or to return to at a later date. and well thats all it is, sorry for the long post.

That was something I stressed about in the beginning as well. I had 15+ cans going and started to be concerned about them going stale. It took me about 3 weeks to find my top 3 and that's when I made the backup order of about 4 cans each of these. I still didn't want to order a roll due to the "tastes change" advise I heard about so often here. With every order now, I try to order at least 2 or 3 cans of "try out" cans. For me anyway, having around all those cans open in the beginning was a good thing as it gave me a good sampling to start from and to know what to expect.

I've since developed the gallon ziploc filing system lol. I have one that comes with me every day. This one has about 8 cans in it and all but maybe one are open. I have an insulated bag I carry and they stay plenty fresh. This bag goes in the fridge door each night.
I have a next in line back kept in the bottom of the fridge that is at least one can of my regulars and a few cans of the next in line to try. I exercise as much will power as possible to not open any of these until a vacancy appears in the everyday bag. Vacancy can happen from an empty can or one that I just didn't like...which brings me to the 2 freezer bags. One for regular rotation and favs and one for eh..didn't like..i'll try again some day or wait for the next hell box.

No right or wrong way...but plenty of ideas to build your own system. Mostly, I got organized so I'd quit worrying about it and just enjoy.

            Snuson!

I'm a categorize it kind of guy so this works for me. I expect at some point that I'll have no more then 3 or so that come with me and that my favs will change less frequently.
My biggest concern now...I need to stop ordering lol...getting close to 70 cans at last count.

i use the freezer bag system only to keep cans from flying around my freezer..they kept getting thrown across the room..
