also ex smoker here. cigarette smell does bother me but it's all the other "new" smells that get to me. before when i smoked i could not smell hardly anything. now sometimes the smells overwhelm me. like say around a bunch of restaurants all those smells mixing together just about makes me gag haha. after 35-40 years of smoking i would have thought my smeller would just be dead :shock: but it works like a five year olds.
