Most comfortable portions?

From the replies so far, I kinda infer that people are rating the portion material itself. The material is pretty similar throughout brands. IMHO, it seems like the main difference in feel is how much room is inside the portion bag.

For example, to me, offroad icemint feels like a ton of snus in a tiny bag. Feels thick and hard. General on the other hand seems to have more free space in the bag, giving it room to mold itself around my gums.

Then there's General wintergreen, which is in its own category. :? I'm guessing the wintergreen oil/flavor does something to soften it.

There's definitely a difference in portion material. There's some good suggestions above with silky portions. The Gotlands are soft, but not the softest, and they're plump little pillows.

To me it would be a toss up between onyx and gotlands. Gotlands is soft and forms quick to settle in place. Onyx seems to take longer to get settled in but is a tiny bit softer than gotlands once it does. O.R seems to have the most uncomfortable portions i've tried so far.

I like the wedge shape too, they go in nice and easy and sit comfortable. The skinny end closest to the front teeth.

Got is good, but they seem course? MMM I can't wait until my Got Flader gets here.

I have only tried Onyx, Claq qui, skruf, and Thunder frosted so far. I'd have to say that Thunder frosted takes the prize for softest feel and loosest portions out of the four.

even though it's not my favorite snus, Skruf White has some really comfortable portions. They're soft, smooth and the volume of tobacco is perfect. They're not loaded up to the point their bulging, but they aren't underfilled to the point that they're all baggy. They're just right.

I might say Odens Original could fit in that.

The only thing I didn't like about Oden's Classic was the portion bag material. The ES and ES Kanal are way more comfortable.

I can't understand some of you think skruf is the most comfy portions? :O
In ALL of the cans of Skruf I have bought, the portions have been hard and uncomfortable all the way :S

I might say Odens Original could fit in that.

I got Oden's Classic as my free can from getsnus in my order today. The portion was so so fat it locked my mouth into a fixed sneer. I work in retail so this is one I'll probably only be using at home.

I came here to post this exact same thing. I like it better than white portions from Swedish Match, which tend to have a compressed block of snus loosely put in a pouch, and the material irritates my gums somtimes, too. I don't mean to harp on Match too much though, as the majority of snus I buy is from them.

I will have to go against the majority here in regards to Onyx.It does feel softer to the touch but it is easily the roughest on my gums/lip.
This also applies,to a lesser extent,with all the whites I've tried.I prefer regular portions,which are definitely softer,and they seem to release the flavor a lot faster.

General Sterk White has good portion material and well filled.
Claq Qui has good portion material.

Phantom Brown White Portion, not too good.
Odens Classic Original Portion, not too good.
Probe Whiskey Portion, not bad material, but not full enough.
Lucky Strike, white and original, same as above.
Odens Classic Kanel, same as other Odens, maybe too fat.
