I am really hoping some of the smaller shops ignore this. I don't understand how the trademark attorneys could go after someone for selling in a place it is legal and happen to ship it someplace else. I have never known trademark law to have that power.

I know! Lucky Strike and Camel (SE version) are not being marketed in the United States. The products are being shipped legally for personal use. I smell bullshit somewhere......

I wonder if the tobacco companies here in the u.s. are catching on to what is being shipped here. Think about it, if camel, lucky strike weren't selling a whole lot(posing a threat to cigs) they wouldn't care if you put a product out called jesus snus. Maybe the use of snus here in the states is starting to grow to a sizeable market and that has them worried. There are probably a lot of people out there ordering this stuff without anyone else knowing about it. ME personally, I had seen the camel stuff in stores but never thought anything past it being a pouch. Then one night I was watching a show about tobacco on history channel and seen it being shown at the very end of the show and it hit me, (damnit I never even thought about trying snus)and here i am today. Happy and jaw rot free. I wouldn't assume that the names would be changed unless a crapload of product was going to the u.s.

They probably just protecting their brand. If they don't vigorously defend their trademark, they could lose it. If BAT Lucky Strike is allowed in, that would leave the door open for Lucky Strike leaf chew by lxskllr, or even Lucky Strike condoms, or anything you want. If trademarks aren't defended, that can show willful neglect, and abandonment of the trademark.
