    Lucky Strike Original

I'd highly recommend Lucky Strike Original Portion to anybody that hasn't tried it yet. I'm sure it's not everybody's cup of tea, but it's a great snus.

It's flavor is very bold and rich, but what I like about it is that it doesn't have that citrus like bite to it that others have. It's a more savory flavor. You still get a nice tobacco flavor, but the smoke flavoring really blends well with it. I wish I had a better way to describe it other than "bold" "rich" "full" and all the other cliches, but I really can't think of anything.

It is a little on salty side, which I like, but it may not appeal to people who prefer low salt content.

The tin is also pretty cool. I just wish the lid wouldn't get so damn loose after it's been in the freezer for a while.

I have some of these in the freezer and haven't tried them yet. I will though, after I use up my opened cans.

It is a great snus, but just a bit "too strong" for me. The Whites were my favorite for a long time before both retro and camel supplanted it.

I find myself preferring the saltier snus for some reason. I've always liked salt and snus turned out to be no different.

That said, what are some of the saltier snus out there?

I can't wait for the LS ES.

Anyone have any inside info as to when they'll be out?

As far as the ES it is available now in Norway. I love the white portions though and I'm about to order some of the original.

Lucky Strike original portions is my favorite snus, hands down. I have tried many flavors, and flavors have jumped all over the place with time, but I have never gotten tired of the Lucky Strike originals. They have the perfect balance for me. I do not find them salty, and I love the toasted tobacco flavor with no citrus. I always have an open can, and will use them 90-100% of the time throughout the day.

And they made an ES portion? Anyone have more info? I can't wait!

Lucky strike was my first snus but the longer I used it the more the background flavor of earwax or shoepolish seemed to come to the foreground.

Thanks, I have used snus for a little over two years now and believe it saved my life- I smoked two and a half packs a day. I have read this message board a long time and decided to post finally.
