Yeah, shame, really. I hate to like something that I despise the "brand image" of. Apple comes to mind - I've been a mac user since 1985 but Jobs has turned what used to be the respected, quality machine into a magnet for fashionistas. Go figure. Great machines, but still...

Knox kind of has the reverse name association - I think Ft. Knox the gold storing bank, but it's a budget snus.

Maybe it means you can keep your 'gold' in the bank with this budget snus (ok, maybe that's a long shot).

I think the Swedes couldn't care less about what "Knox" means.
The word just sounds very macho and tough an' shit and the overall design accentuates that too.

:lol: I always thought the cans had kind of that 'designer/baller' look to them. Packaging and advertising for swedish snus is pretty irrelevent to me since no one I know uses snus, and my girlfriend is really the only person that knows I do.

To take an extreme example: it's kinda like debating which lingerie looks best on ourselves on a cross-dresser's forum while the rest of the world is oblivious to this little secret.
