Teethbrushing and snus!

Hey everyone,
I was wondering about how long you wait after brushing your teeth until you pop in a fresh snus? For me personally I usually wait about 30 mins because I don't want extra nicotine/whatever to seep into my bloodstream due to lots of blood circulation in my gums (my gums turn red after brushing, has always been the case) and cause me to bug out (read my intro post for reasoning!)

I'm usually all kinds of late when trying to get out the door in the morning, so I brush my teeth and usually have on in almost immediately. It's not so bad if you have some Thunder Frosted on hand, but some of the other ones can clash a little with the toothpaste. It only lasts a few minutes though.

15-30 minutes I'd say. I'd wait longer but I'm impatient. My reason for waiting is I don't want the toothpaste flavor to pollute my delicious snus :^D

I could care less about the minty flavor. My nicotine addiction needs to be maintained in the morning!

I am really trying to be better about teeth care, so have been dealing with this question myself much recently. I find about 10 minutes is long enough for the toothpaste taste to clear. I thought it might need to be longer, but for me at least, that works.

Honestly I almost always have a cup of coffee after brushing if I'm driving to work. If not, then I find a portion of General Wintergreen tastes just fine with the minty toothpaste flavor.

I use nasal snuff right before brushing my teeth, but still pop a new snus in very quickly after.

I have a big fat chew in the shower every morning. By the time I rinse the soap off I'm pretty kicked.

I get my choppers brushed, get dressed, and usually have a cig on the ride to work.

I hit my desk and pop a sterk portion.

Weird thing is I fix my coffee, take it to work, and don't even sip it until my computer boots up.... I just realized that. One time I spilled coffee on a white shirt while driving... lol

I said 15 minutes though. That's all I could last without one. Has nothing to do with toothpaste flavor either.

If I chose to forgo the morning cig, I would pop a snus as soon as I got dressed.

For me it depends. I tend to be pretty conscious of what products I use, and years ago made the decision to switch to natural fluoride free toothpastes. That said, I opened myself up to a whole new league of toothpaste flavorings that stray far from the minty fresh status quo. If I feel like having an anise flavored snus, I will use the anise flavored toothpaste. If I dont want any taste, I have an apricot version which is very lightly flavored (yuck). Otherwise it's just a tea tree oil toothpaste, which, to stray off topic, does a great job of keeping your gums healthy. A major plus when using snus.

All in all, I don't have to have a snus first thing in the morning. I usually wait until I've washed and eaten. By that time, the food will take any residual taste out of my mouth and the added glycemic load will also make nicotine a much more pleasurable experience.

Their toothpaste rocks. I don't care for the fruit flavors, but the fennel, and gingermint are huge favorites of mine, and aren't available in the big name brands.

O what the hell...

For me the amount of time depends on how far away the can of snus is from the sink and if I have to stop and do something like fish it out of the toilet again.

However long it takes me to get from the bathroomm to the fridge and dig out the Elixyr...with Elixyr, the toothpaste taste isn't really a factor!

oops I hit > 1 hr, but meant 1-15 minutes, takes a while for it to wake me up so I don't like waiting too long.

You got it. The tea tree toothpaste is Desert Essence though. I know this is a little off topic but **** it, it's got teethbrushing in the name.
