    Taboca - a sneubie review

So, this morning I decided to give something different from my first shipment a try - the Taboca Portion (Trying to make the N&J last longer, lol.) First impression, not that bad, the portion size feels huge compared to some of the others I've been trying - but the material seems decent and the flavor is unique and pleasant. This one doesn't seem to have the strong overpowering salt flavor, and the tobacco seems to come through pretty well.

As for the nic hit, I haven't been using it very long, but it seems to be coming on pretty steady and smooth. So ~30 mins in:

Pros: Good clean tobacco flavor, not overpowering, pleasant change from the saltiness of other snuses. Steady and consistent, seems to give off a bit less "drip." Cheap ($2.60 at most from Northerner)

Cons: Not so much of one, just note that the portion sizes seem huge compared to the others I have tried. Tin has metal with no ashtray lid (not the con,) but is sealed with tape that stays on the tin as you peel it away leaving a sticky residue.

If they have Gotland Gul, get that instead. It's similar to Taboca, but better imo.

Sorry guys, don´t mean to be rubbing you´r salty wounds

Just wanting to share my newfound interest in sampling goods, besides you can still buy it, even cheaper than I I´m guessing online so, we´re in the same boat, kinda, almost or something like that,

I love you my dear fellow-snusers

This measly little store doesn´t carry a big selection so no Gotlands, but I´m gonna visit my regular stock up place, I never really bothered browsing the massive fridges there before ( just got the cheapest crap at hand, I know, I know, I´m embarrassed about my ignorance to all the new brands I never tried ops: ) so I´m gonna do that on monday.

Clickable image for you´r viewing pleasure.

This is what I picked up today, but thats the last time I do it in the quicky-mart cause I can get it way cheaper in the outlet.

I'm curious to hear what you think of the PM1847. It doesn't get much love around here, but it's one of my favorite portions.

Nice review Bonked! I've only had the strong minis but you've got me intrigued enough to try the original!

Lx, you are not alone, I love the 1847! It's more of a 2-3 can at a time snus for me, but still a great tasting snus!

Chossy, the more you post here, the more I really hate you! . Nah seriously, much love bro! I just envy the hell out of you! Lucky barstard! Happy snusing to ya! 8)

Thanks fish  love is the key.

I´ll keep posting pics if I find any good ones to snap.
I envy you too, I wanna sit on my front porch in SC and gaze over the nice tobacco (snus) fields with a nice selection of snus and cold lemande.

A gentle evening breeze sweeps across my face as I sit there in my rocking chair and think to myself, what a wonderful world

Then copying Stewie from family guy suddenly exclaiming

                  - It´s good to have land!

P.S sorry to de-rail the thread, back on topic

Of course we're all ADD...haven't you seen that they're exploring nicotine for use with ADD? We're just all ahead of the game and figured it out quicker than the supposedly "experts" did 8)

Known worldwide as the only snus manufacturer to produce the Cuban tobacco brands Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, Taboca AS also manufactures the Taboca brand of Swedish snus.
