I've already tried the Klondike, and was not impressed, though the fine cut peppermint had a nice taste. The cherry portions were horrid.

Haven't found Triumph yet. Tourney isn't too bad. At leasts it's made in Sweden and not sweet.

          New Camel Snus Flavor Spotted!

So I was at the Fort Hood PX this morning and noticed on the refrigerator where they keep the Frost and Mellow snus a new sticker that said that a new flavor, Robust, was coming soon. Has anyone else heard of this? It comes in a red can.

That's the first I have heard anything. Interesting, see if they can get any better with this stuff.

In their second quarter SEC report, Reynolds said that they'll be releasing two new flavors in limited markets.

โ€œCAMEL Snus was expanded nationally in the first quarter of 2009, and as of June 30, 2009, gained market share of more than 0.3 percent on a cigarette equivalent basis that assumes a can of snus is equal to a pack of cigarettes. Two new styles of CAMEL Snus will be launched in limited markets in the third quarter of 2009.โ€
I guess Robust is one of those flavors. They've trademarked "Winterchill," so that's as good a guess as any for the other one.

In 2007 Reynolds came out with a cigarette line called Camel Signature
                      Available in 4 flavors.

Robust as โ€œsimilar to notes found on cocoa and espressoโ€
Mellow as โ€œaccented with toasted honeyโ€
Frost as โ€œFine Asian Mintโ€ฆ while the creamy finish delivers a smooth, buttery aftertasteโ€
                      Infused as offering โ€œnotes of Citrusโ€ and โ€œa sweet apple-like flavor.โ€

If I was a betting man, I'd say those are your four Camel snus flavors. 8)

I tried to google Snus Camel Robust, and all I get is a cigarette flavor. Is this really a new snus to come? I'm interested if so, and if it's a non sweetened tobacco.

That's a good thought, I would figure they'd follow that trend.

And you know what's weird? As much crap as I talk about Camel, I'll probably try these anyway. Just out of curiousity.

I would be very happy to try a new US Camel snus that was non sweet robust tobacco flavor. Hopefully a bigger portion too.

New Camel flavors? Might be interesting, I'll try them out if available in my area..

Has anyone here tried the Camel Orbs/Strips/Sticks at all??

Haven't seen them. Curious to see what they're about.
