Los in the lower lip.

Tried another first today. I've always heard you can't put los in the lower lip, well I'm here to say bullshit, you sure can. My job doesn't say we can't use tobacco, but who wants to see a person with an upper lip and teeth full of mud right? I really enjoy my los so I decided to give it a try, 2 clicks on the Icetool since I was experimenting, compressed it, and popped it in. The only downside I could tell was it didn't last as long, but it gives off a lot more flavor, and clean up is easier. Now if only Claq Qui came in los form I would be all set.

There's quite a few peeps that hillbilly it on here. I haven't tried it yet, bit if ya get more flavor, I'm certainly down to try it!

Yep, it can be done. I do it on ocassion with oden's and grov, a little more challenging to keep under control than american dip but doable. I've tried it with ettans but can't seem to keep it from melting away when in lower lip.

That's how I do it. A little runny at first, then it packs down and i'm fine

I ordered a can of Offroad American Wintergreen Longcut just for this purpose. When I was in the military I would dip Skoal Wintergreen while on watch since we couldn't smoke. I must say, the OR Wintergreen long cut works perfect. It's just like Skoal except it tastes a lot better, doesn't give dip lip, and it's Offroad so it's cheap!

The answer I have always read is that the lower lip creates more saliva (hence snus-juice) and that it may require spitting the excessive fluid. The upper lip, on the other hand, produces less, not requiring spitting. That's the book answer anyway.

That's what I was always told about using the lower lip. While it does produce more spit and juice, you can still swallow with no problem.
