Go get in that thread! I’d like to hear about what you use as staples, although I’m technically an old timer, I’m approaching this round as a newbie because I still don’t know what I like out of what’s around now a days. Send me back 14 years or so and I’d buy 100 tins each of Gotland Gul, Phantom Brown, Phantom Blue, Taboca los, and Thunder frosted minis every month until I had enough to last two lifetimes lol.

Some taste that licorice, some dont. Guess the makers of this stuff dont just tell us what flavoring they use, eh? Either way, agree, and Roda is around the top for me.

I got both Goteborgs: the Rapé and the Prima Fint. Haven’t had either in maybe 10 years, lmk which one you want to know about and I’ll put it on the “next out of the freezer spot”. It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted some of these, I actually don’t think I ever tried Prima Fint…and I hated GR last time I tried it according to a ten year old statement in the review thread. Not sure why, I was probably pissed that they discontinued Phantom Blue and GR didn’t taste like it. I really fell off snus when I couldn’t find a daily los replacement for Gotlands Gul los and both the Taboca and the Phantom los lines disappeared, so I just moved to using nasal snuff…but kept finding myself buying and smoking cigarettes when I wanted more nicotine than I could get out of HDT…so after my fifth round of going back to smoking for a couple months, I’m back to snus 100%. I plan to post a fresh review of each tin as I go through them and hot takes in this thread, so I have a project for the next couple of months.

I’m going to break into that can of Roda and see right now lol. Hard to put my finger on it…but definitely delicious, but I also think the licorice that is stated to be in the recipe makes it hard to determine the fruit, and affects the whole of the flavor more than I give it credit.

Ahh, ok. So maybe the Kaliber, Mustang and Rodas "secret" ingredient is pomegranate. Thing is, I probably read about that "secret" ingredient many times. Haha

Granit kinda is, less smoky as I remember. I have a tin in the freezer I’ll get to in a couple of weeks.

Just checked some snus websites for the descriptions, the regular strength Kaliber are vague in their description, but state citrus and pomegranate as part of the flavor. The sterks are directly stated to be tweaked Mustang recipes on Snuscentral…and the strong white and strong original are different flavors. They look tasty and the strong original portion is 9mg/portion, strong white 11.7mg/portion. I might snag an original tho I prefer a white portion when I use portions…but that white portion is a little strong for me.
