Yeah, you're right, this one's the newer version. That change must've happened pretty recently – I’m seeing both types floating around on eBay and other online shops.

Picked this up by accident in a tobacco shop in central Warsaw. Most of what I’d read about it was pretty negative, but curiosity got the better of me. Price was okay — 17 zloty (around 4 € / 4,7 $).


Looks a bit like loose snus, but drier and more gritty. Smells like ammonia and damp soil. Tried making a prilla with a prismaster — fell apart instantly, like wet sand. Ended up putting about 1 g on Rizla paper, wrapping and gluing it, and using it like a portion..

The whole of Poland saw it. What he’s using doesn’t really look like nicotine pouches – the end isn’t heat-sealed, it’s twisted. There are suspicions that it might be some illegal substance.

I've never tried that, but I'm beginning to wonder why. La Morenita is really good, but maybe a little creative blending wouldn't hurt. And you're right. Taste is subjective. Besides, I started out using Los, but have moved to pouches for the convenience. I do miss los ( it's kind of a challange). Maybe doing some blending would be fun. Good idea you have there. I'm thinking Rape and Grov.....

La Morenita (loose) really impressed me at first, but after a while I felt like something was missing. Took me a moment to figure out what exactly. Now I know: during the first 15–20 minutes the rum flavor completely dominates, and the tobacco is just too weak.
So I tried a mix like in the photo. And you know what? At roughly a ⅔ La Morenita / ⅓ Ettan ratio (very approximate, no scale involved), the tobacco note definitely got stronger — but on top of that, a chocolate flavor showed up 🍫 noticeable after about 5 minutes. Totally unexpected.

Turns out mixing flavors is way more complicated than mixing colors 😉🎨

Makes me wonder how much of this is purely subjective taste perception. Have you guys done experiments like this?

General Harvest was kinda like Montecristo or Romeo e Julieta from a while back (am I showing my age?). Tobacco only. No smoke, flavors...nothing but pretty good tobacco taste. Got 5 cans of Rustik coming. Hope it's similar.

I tried the Montecristo and Romeo e Julieta. They were good. The Rustik are white portions.
