Oh yea, sauerkraut's delicious. I was in the mood for something kind of vinegary, and I was digging around in the fridge for some pickles. I had to move a covered pot a couple of times, and I was studying 3 different brands of pickle, but I couldn't decide which I wanted. I then realized what a dumb ass I was, as the covered pot had leftover kraut. I heated it for a couple of minutes on the stove, and chowed down. I would have liked more, but it worked for my sour fix :^)

I always assumed everybody had sauerkraut for thanksgiving dinner, but apparently that's primarily a MD thing. We used to be a majority German state, well into the 20th century I believe. I guess that's why most people serve kraut at thanksgiving. I have mostly German ancestors. 3/4 of my grand parents were 100% German, and the other was German mixed with a bunch of other stuff.

It tried it a while back when I ordered a los sampler and it's been sitting in the fridge ever since. I should have used it a few more times before writing it off. It's actually pretty good. Similar but better than General Los IMO.
