Skruf Stark Portion Vs Loose Nic Content

Just curious why Skruf Stark portion is 14mg per portion/g and Skruf loose is 10mg/g? I've seen this on a few sites that advertise the nic content of snus.

I mean I guess you can just give it another notch on your Icetool with the loose but I just wondered if anyone knew the reason why? I don't recall other stark brands doing this with their loose versions.

But the Odens kick is SO much slower. Yeah, it says it has more nicotine, but I tolerate it WAY better than Skruff. With Skruff, I think the nicotine hits all at once.

I've got an open can of Oden's ES loose. It has a powerful citrus flavor. It's almost like I stuck a lime in my lip.

I just opened my last 50g can of Skruf Stark loose. It is so good....

I think the portions and loose are both really good.

I liked the white portions the first few cans I had, but ended up having issues with how dry they were. They hurt my lip. They got a bit off tasting after too long out of refrigeration too.

The original question of the post though. I would think the portions are stronger than the loose a bit because they have to overcome the portion bag to get into you. They may have a different moisture content as well. I bet they are a bit dryer by weight and that means more nicotine by default due to less water in the tobacco.
