    Roda Lacket - Yum.

So, last night I opened up a can of Roda Lacket white portions. And I really enjoy them. One thing I noticed was the increased salt content of these, but perhaps that was because I was messing around with the portions and trying to extract this new flavor. Needless to say, when I had one this morning with my coffee I really enjoyed it and the saltiness was even less because I wasn't fiddling with the portion.

Now, I am at work so I am enjoying a Skruf Stark regular portion with a Pepsi. Gotta get the day going!

So, anyways, now I am a happy man that I ordered 2 cans of Claq Qui last night and some Roda Lacket los. I wont regret it!

Oh, man ... you're gonna love Claq Qui!

I've always loved the taste of Röda Lacket -- my only issue is the fact that it's a white portion. Oh, how I wish for a regular one!

I would love a RL regular portion too. That would be awesome because I do love em but I dont order em because they are kind of mild and dry. I just ordered some of the Claq to see whats up with those.

Subtilo - Might be worth posting a wish in 'Talk with professionals' for SM to think over. You never know.

            Pris (welcome back!):

Yeah, I've considered doing that. And while I'm at it I should ask for af regular version of Göteborgs Rapé too ...

Thanks Subtilo. Why not suggest both....

PS. I found the los Goteborgs Rape tasted good. I too was put off it somewhat only being available in whites so thought I would give the los a try. I must give the los RL a try too.

Heeeey, been a long time, eh? I've been kinda busy/distracted, as well as broke, in the past year or so I've been gone, so my adventures in snus have been on hiatus. Got re-started with the Camels, which are very much like candy, but they'll do for when I'm between deliveries! I made a huge order the other day, though, and remembered everyone recommending Roda Lacket, so I threw those in. I saw Claq Qui as well, and just HAD to get those, too.

If I remember correctly, members were telling me that the licorice flavor (which I'm not a fan of) isn't very strong in the RL--that it's more fruity than anything else. So yesh. Can't wait. If I'm wrong, I'll still use 'em, because this smoking thing has got to go.

...Anyway, I SHOULD be writing a stupid, stupid paper (on the Matrix Trilogy, no less), so I guess I'll scram! I've missed this place!

                    Yummi:

                    Yup, long time.

I've never really tasted the licorice in RL. To me it has always been more apple like (I think). I find CQ to taste more like licorice, but I'm hard-pressed to get beyond the apple notes in that one too.

                    Go for it!

EDIT: bear in mind that I come from a part of the world where some licorice comes with following warning: Adult candy - not for children.

I am a huge fan of Roda loose (in fact I am enjoying a pris right now).

I've recommended on several other posts to try and bake your pris of Roda more loosely. Roda is not really a mild snus. However it is a very finely ground snus. Thus when you bake a firm/tight pris the saliva cannot get in to extract the flavor.

With a looser bake I find Roda to be very flavorful
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Bah, I remember my (mis)adventures with loose. I think it'll be quite a while before I try my hand at that again. I do remember that the loose seemed to be much softer on my gums, and the flavors more...subtle and delicious. But the mess--THE MESS!

                            Icetool helps significantly with this.

I am making another attempt with los. If you will look, you will see my thread about this. I am trying, but still REALLY prefer portions.. But I am giving it at least 2 - 4 months to see if maybe, that will change.

Yes! I will try to stay updated with your thread. One of my biggest issues with loose is convenience, especially in public. I don't think I'd ever bake a pris out at a bar--I'd mostly want to avoid the social stigma associated with oral tobacco (aka, dip), but I can't picture myself baking successfully after a drink or two... :?
