    New Snuser here!

    Hiii! Everybody!

My name's Jordan. I've been using snus for about a month and a half now.

I started off smoking cigars, didn't like going outside or smelling like a cigar so I tried to find an altenrative. I heard about Snus over at board I post on and decided to give it a try.

    My first Snus?

Camel Frost. Urgh. ...Now that I've had real Swedish snus, that stuff is like...eating gum, it's so sweet and I don't know why but it always get's too liquid-y? Maybe it's the way I use it? I dunno.

Some of the stuff I tried are the following:

    Roda Lacket
    Thunder
    Retro
    Mocca
Oden's Extra Stark Cinnamon flavor (I think the can smells so CINNAMON-Y it's overwhelming at first)
    Jakobsson's Ice-fruit

Oh, and the one that nobody seems to like but I love it and just bought more.

Elixyr! Nictione+Caffiene=AMAZING. ...And yes, somehow I actually like the taste.

Anyways, I've been stalking this place for awhile so I thought I should join in on the fun!

A start off question: I've seen those really pretty Snus tins you can buy to put your Snus in. They are really cool...I admit, I want one...but do they happen to make anything more uh, feminine? ops:

You could always check ebay and/or antique stores for antique snuff boxes.

      Welcome to Snuson Jordan.

And I am already in love!!! You like Elyxr!!!

You will learn that am Snuson's official Elyxr defender. I have literally responded to over 50 threads where newbies thought they were being so smart criticizing Elyxr's taste. Explaining over, and over, and over one more time that t is not about taste but functionality. I have been using for over a year, and it s a critical part of my routine. i ride a motorcycle to work and simply must be alert before get on it.

I have been talking up Elyxr for so long, many many folks have tried it and most of them have come to appreciate it like me

I am just so pleased to read someone else getting Elyxr right off the bat. Another voice defending Elyxr is always welcome here.

Also note that - repeating one of Sagedil's seminal insights - you taste is going to change again - and again and again and again. I thought Grov Svart was it --- and then suddenly I found it boring. Then I discovered Thunder wintergreen, bought two rolls, and now I have difficulties finishing it. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying General white at the moment, which a month ago I was ready to give away. The world of snus is dynamic! The only thing you can expect is to be in a state of flux, but even that principle has exceptions.

That tin box is SO AWESOME. ...I wonder if they ship overseas and sadly, I don't understand swedish...but I'd totally get that.

Elxyr is delicious. I seriously love it and I don't think it taste bad at all. ...in fact, I think it taste really good.

...Then again, I'm weird and just tried Offroad (which i heard was not very good snus) in apple and I liked that too. ....That or my taste buds are terrible...or I'm not picky. I have no idea.

Snus is just funny and everyone is SO different. Why "reviews' are kinda stupid really. Just because I love something, you might hate it. And even if we both like 90% of the same stuff, we could be opposite on the other 10%. So good for you that you are just exploring.

But as Multinic sad, and he s right, I say it all the time, be prepared for your snus tastes to gyrate wildly for a long time. It really took me about a year before they stabilized. Snus you love today you might come to hate, and snus you thought was terrible is suddenly divine. So most important advice. Any snus you think you don't like, set t aside, then try again in a week. Still don't like, try it again in a month. Still don't like, you know then that you probably never will.

I can't say I "like" the taste of Elyxr, but I tolerate it very well now, and can leave one in for 2 ours and never mind. I think part of it is I just associate the taste with the good effects. Similar to other drugs in my bad boy days.

              Welcome to the forum, Auroradreamaker!

On the website they say that the shipping is included in the price, so I assume that they don't ship overseas. The whole website looks like it's solely made for Swedish customers. They don't even bother to say that they don't ship abroad, from what I've read in their general terms and conditions ("Köpinformation").

              Cheers!

                Jordan,

The trick is to get enough people interested in snus accesories like that and then to bug Frank @ Northerner to carry them.

I emailed them today about carrying them...

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
