suggestions for a newb

which snus would you recommend pairing with coffee? a cup of coffee with a cigarette is the ONLY thing about smoking i miss.

ive tried white portions from general, skruf, and grov. they dont work with coffee for me. any suggestions?

General Onyx or Grov Black

First of all WELCOME to the forum. My favorite Coffee/Snus combo would be Grov Black portion. It has a nice real subtle vanilla flavor that I didn't get a first and really coffee just mixes real well. I'm sure you'll get people saying Ettan and others...I haven't tried these but from personal experience if you like a little bit higher nic kick you can't go wrong with Grov Black.

Edit: I didn't see what you said about Grov...Is that just plain old Grov or is that Grov Black as well?

Grov and Ettan are goto coffee snus'. Lucky Strike I enjoy also. Since you said you're not into the Grov, I'm not sure what to suggest.

If it's the nicotine you're missing along with the coffee give General Extra Sterk a go.

i like the grov white by itself but i pick up some sort of lemony taste which im not too sure about with the coffee.

i have some onyx in the freezer that i have been saving until i think im ready for the extra nic, but i guess i'll give it a go. i'll put some of that grov black in my next order as vanilla sounds delicious, and i suppose i need to try ettan just because.

also, whats the deal with lucky strike? they dont have it on northerner anymore. its a shame because i want to try it... lucky strike cigarettes were top notch.

They're apparently retooling the tins. It looks like it'll be back shortly.

I'm surprised you get citrus out of the Grov. I've only has the regular portions and lös, but I get earthy "dark" flavors out of it. Onyx is very citrusy, but some people like that with coffee. I don't find it particularly complimentary though.

I also find Grov to be citrusy, similar to general original, but no where near onyx. No one else on here really agrees with me, but I think general and grov taste so ridiculously similar to each other. And i love them both.
