I'm addicted to buying snus. Heavily. I've got a serious problem. I just recieved a large order last week but a few minutes ago I saw the jakobbsons deal on getsnus..... Now I've got another 8 Cans headed my way. It seems I'm as addicted to buying the stuff as I am to actually using it. At least I have enough to survive any impending zombie holocaust. I just can't resist trying everything I can. It's strange that when I smoked cigarettes I hated buying them, I always felt like it was a waste. Now I can plop down 100 bucks on snus and order more 4 days later. God I love snus.

Well you've been snusing a few years so you can do that.

I switched to snus after smoking for 38 years a little over 6 months. I'm still too busy trying different brands and varieties. I haven't settled down enough to start ordering rolls of product yet. When you're a newbie it's too easy to order a roll of something and end up hating it after you're half way thru the 1st can.

OTOH, When I was smoking I bought a carton of cigarettes every 3 or 4 days. Now I use 6-8 portions a day, so one can of snus lasts me 3 or 4 days. I've saved so much money I can afford to **** up ordering snus once in awhile without feeling guilty about it. 8)

Just don't buy a lot of one kind before you're sure you like it. My personal rule is to finish two cans of any flavor before buying in bulk.

I hear you on ordering before you run out... Although, as long as it's loose I haven't found a brand I don't like, so I can get away with freezing 4 out of 5 cans in a roll to save the 20% on getsnus.com. A funny thing is, my favorite so far is offroad original with that slight lemon zest to it and it's one of the cheaper kinds. I have a full roll in the freezer now. I also have to try everything loose I can. ...don't like portions much. I have 13 cans of portion that I only use when hiding the habit at work. A trick for me is parking those portions right against a saliva gland in my cheek and draining the nicotine in 10 minutes. Keeps me going - but I'm off track lol.

Billy1, you aren't the only one here with that problem. How I ended up with 90 tins in my freezer once.

I am better at managing my problem now, have it set up so I only buy once every month now and am keeping a *slightly* more reasonable amount of snus on hand now.

lol, same boat here. I foolishly allowed my supply of Ettan to get low before re-ordering (hopefully this will be fixed today!!!) When I cried about my wife pointed out all the other tins in the freezer. She just doesn't understand my plight :shock:

Yeah, your preaching to the choir! Wife is getting wise to the ever growing pile of vacuum packed bags in the freezer, and the Los pile is even starting to freak me out, and I am micro polishing the ice tool. And I cannot figure out which one to order next, and I have an order with 4 separate companies right now! Sound about right? I get depressed when the mailbox is empty, yeah you got problems all right! :shock:

I'm damn near broke, as i'm always on a tight budget consisting of spam fried rice and red bull. What i did to rationalize my snus purchases was collect all my spare change separate and count it out! Youd be surprised how much you have lying around! And thats b/c i live in a tiny shack of an apartment with my dog.

Lol, I must be the only one who practices any moderation as far as snus purchase (which really does surprise me)...

I think it is more or less the fear of losing a large order in transit that keeps my spending at bay. I don't really stockpile, and my orders are generally small and frequent.

You two aren't the only ones that can't afford to stockpile. My snus collection regularly gets a little scary while I am budgeting for a new order. Part of the reason that getsnus is so attractive to me. If they would just get thunder frosted I would be fine.

That rocks. In my last order I used getsnus, but ended up ordering thunder from northerner. Good to hear about the new arrival.

I was like that in the beginning, but after about 2 months, I realized I was honestly not happy with most new snus I was trying. Not totally "Oh my god! Throw is out!" unhappy, but I did not like them as much as General. Now I am boring, and just order a roll of General Original Portion with one can of something different each order.

Going to a Finnish high school is great because you can always sell your surplus. That's because using snus is really common (and legal), but selling is illegal (so it's always a little pain to find good snus). You can easily get €5 for a tin (at if it's something strong) and the demand is very high in my school at least. So I just buy a bulk and sell enough for me to break even. If I felt like it, I could even profit from this.
