Overpriced? That's what you say now.....

Soon you will start to suffer from Icetool fever and consider buying another (probably a 4ml or a steel 3ml) and then you will start eyeing up a 5ml for those days you just have to have a larger perfectly formed Icetool pris......and before you know it you will have more Icetools than you need.....

I am the portion king, I LOVE portions. But even I will be picking up an icetool next month for my yearly foray back in to los. From everything I have read in two years. You do los, you want an icetool. Hundreds of folks have gone that route and I have NEVER read someone posting they didn't like the icetool.

In the interest of accuracy, I will say that there was 1 guy who said he preferred hand baking, and put his IceTool up for sale. I don't remember who it was, but he was the only one. Most I've read came into it sceptically(myself included), but saw the light after owning one :^)

Just for you sage, I don't like the icetool, I LOVE MY ICETOOL!

I think you will come to appreciate it very much. I have the 3ml stainless steel Icetool and it is a thing of beauty and I use it almost daily. I can't imagine being without it.
I polished it super shiny, It's beautiful just to look at.

I have 4 Zippos from when I smoked, so maybe I like to accessorize.

My opinion is that it is a great little product that is worth every penny to me, and these days pennies are tight.

Still, I can't wait for the 4 ml in Stainless Steel because I will pick one up in a heartbeat.
          Phil

I've had my stainless 3ml for a year and a half now and I love it. I use it every day. It was definitely worth the price.

It's also worth noting that in all that time, I've still not had to replace the o-ring. It works just as well as the day it came in the mail.

I like General, but not 30 cans of it.

Now, if they expanded that deal to include Ettan.................

I'd be all over it for 30 cans of Ettan. They use General because it's overpriced by 30¢ or so as it is. They're giving back money due in the form of an IceTool :^P

Ehhhh, I dunno. I've been 80% lös for about a year now, and the Prismaster has always done right by me. I'll handbake now and then at home, but in most cases it's messy and a bit unwieldy. But I haven't really cared for the expense for an Icetool. Of course, if I tripped over a really good deal on one, I'd take it just for the hell of it.

But you have never tried it so you really don't know how much better it might make it?

I just know so many folks here have sad that it really made better prises <sp?> Far, far more folks say it is definitely worth it compared to folks who said it wasn't. And I have never read anyone say they preferred a prsmaster to an icetool.

You do what works for you. But you have to admit the crowd says the icetool is worth it. I'm going with the crowd on this one. I just want to make sure my next los test is done under most favorable conditions.

I'm sure it would work great. In fact, I know it does. I'm well aware of the popularity. The only thing I raised a question about was 'if you do lös, you get an Icetool'.

I'm not dissing Icetool at all. I'm just one of those 'if it ain't broke' kinda guys, so to date I've passed on the $40 Icetool when the $2 Prismaster works great for me. If and when I find a good deal on it, I'll probably break down.

                          icetool vs prismaster

Well, the icetool totally kicks the prismaster's ass. The pris master doesn't have the same shape, also it must be cleaned after every single use, or it's very tough to use. I have come to find the value in the icetool, for one it's anodized aluminum, for two it's well machined. I'm happy with it, just took some setting in.

I didn't say 'if you do lös, you get an Icetool'. I implied that if you use lös, you should get an icetool to truly understand how good the lös experience can be.

Again, I am just a portions guy. But I used lös enough to know that a prismaster did not make a pris that was optimal for my comfort. I expect there is at least a chance I might be more inclined to like it if I use a 3ml icetool. The reviews are just so consistent, I have concluded I
would be dumb not to at least try it.

And even if I don't end up using lös much, I figure it is good to throw some money at the folks who make this forum possible and are responsible for bringing me so much happiness.[/i]

Just placed my third order for snus tonight and it included a stainless 3 ml Icetool. I got three Pris Masters with my first order of snus and have been using it the whole time. The Pris Master may be inexpensive, however for me it does have it's fallbacks because of how it operates. I have over packed it a few times and had to fight it to get the pris out. I like the way los lasts and does not create a mudslide when I pack it. I also tend to leave tabacco I put in my mouth in for a long time. Even at work with Skoal long cut, it is in for an hour or more most of the time. With snus I leave it in for up to a couple of hours most of the time.

I am finding the longer I use snus, the more I like it, even the flavors that I only okay the first few times I use them are growing on me. I have been a diehard wintergreen fan with Skoal for decades, so it surprises me how much I enjoy the various flavors, even the plain, of snus I have tried. I will admit, and maybe it is the decades of wintergreen, I do like the wintergreen and licorice I have tried the most, so this last order is heavy on those flavors, and trying a couple of different brands of those snuses.

I am finding as Sage and a lot of you have said, that even though I have favorites, I am liking the variety. Going to the fridge when I get home is like a kid visiting the candy store trying to decide the flavor (or two) for the evening.

It looks like that 50 cans of Skoal long cut wintergreen in the freezer is going to last longer then I orginally thought it would.

I have tried the Pris Master in my long cut and it did not work. Trust me, I will be stuffing the Icetool into my Skoal can and see if it works, and will definately be letting you know if it works or not.

Yes!! That is the magic that comes from keeping yourself well supplied. I still get happy chills every time I open my freezer and see my snus stock. And deciding what I want next is one of my happiest chores in life!!
