No harm, just wanting to clear that up. I'm keeping one in between beers. I live in a college town so they are hard on that kind of stuff, so one an hour is all you get. That's not a written rule, but if you're close to the limit you're probably going in.

As long as this turned into a DUI discussion, definitely don't fk with that either! i have had 2, the 2nd of which was in Washington State, which at the time (2003) was the worst state to get one in: I went thru 2 YEARS of alcohol and drug classes, 3 times a week, and 1 year of interlock ignition device, and countless AA meetings. In the end, it cost me about $5,000 in lawyer fees/rehab class admission, but that's what it took to get it off my record. Of course, it's different for different states. Get a DUI in Oregon, it's a relative breeze. Get one in Washington, and you're hurtin for 2 years. And, you could kill yourself/somebody else.

But that's not the point, although it's always a good one (don't drink and drive). The point was, stop snusing. It's making you sick. That's because you aren't addicted to nicotine. Your body doesn't want it. Don't make it want it. Stop now.

Drunken rant. But it's true. Peace brother, nothing but love. If you still want to snus, the wonderful people on this site will guide you. I say say nip this budding addiction in the BUD and kill it while it's fresh. Like in the movie Alien, if they had just killed the baby alien after it popped out of dudes stomach, instead of letting it run around the ship, they would have been safe. But then there wouldn't have been Alien. And that's a badass movie.

Lol. Anti- for those who have no tobacco habits to begin with. Why start as a conscious adult? Pro- for those of us (all of us) who are nicotine addicts already. And anti-drunk-driving, pro-Alien.

LMFAO at this thread. Couldn't sleep so decided to read the boards and this ****ing thread slays me....

Dude, if you're gonna use nicotine then use snus. If you're gonna use snus, start with the lower nicotine portions they won't make you sick. You'll develop a tolerance to the nicotine (which your body doesn't want, that's why you're gettin sick) and then you can move up to the regular portions where there's more variety in flavor and types.

If you're gonna drink and drive, then be a smoker, cuz smoking is stupid and so are drunk drivers. don't wanna give snusers a bad name, we're enlightened and smarter than the rest...LMAO, don't drive drunk dammit you might kill yourself or someone else's family.

Now eat some snus, read the boards and have fun...oh and welcome to the site...we're an opinionated bunch of ****s huh?

Craddock, for me it took more than 10 years from my first cigarettes at the age of around 8 to becoming an addict, though my first experiences even were quite good - just not good enough to make an (expensive) habit out of it.

I really don't see a need to stress anything. Nicotine is not for everyone. About 50% of the people really like nicotine, but also 50% cannot stand it. Even before the anti-tobacco-propaganda of today, even when nicotine was still considered a medicine, there never was a time where everybody was using it.

Find out, if nicotine is for you, but don't stress anything. As others have said, you may regret it.

              Cheers!
