I agree that 1847 is also pretty bad, but at least I can stand to have a portion in my mouth.....not so with the other two.

Marlboro snus is without competition. Tastes like sucking on a test tube, and the chemistry student is failing his class. Has half the nicotine content of the weakest Swedish product. I may be mean enough to feed it to the neighbor's cat if that animal shits in my yard one more time.

I'm surprised at all the hate for 1847. I like it a good bit, and it's pretty close to being in my top 5 favorite portions.

Gotland's Julesnus.

I was so excited about it, but it tasted pretty bland to me, like stale gingerbread cookies; and then the bitterness set in. The bitterness complements the herbalesque profile of the Gotland's Anis very well, but for me it didnt' work with the Julesnus.

Nordstrommen's Julesnus was great though.

That's weird man. When I'm hung over and use snus, my skin will get itchy and red all over! I wonder what causes this?

I believe the pickle taste is due to a certain herb used in Retro to which I have an allergic sensitivity (hivish, itchy skin and serious rolling stomach). Based on my tastebuds Lucky Strike contains the same herb, though not as strong and overbearing as Retro.
