I haven't had any in a while and I figured I would pick up a can since they are sold locally now and pass on my more refined review of it.
I have been using Swedish snus almost exclusively for the last 6 months or so and I actually think that I like the Camel frost but only occasionally.
As far as flavor, its minty, sweet and mildly creamy if you can imagine a snus flavor being creamy.
The portions last a good while. I have one in now and I've had it in for about an hour. The flavor mellows out at about the 30 minute mark and stays pretty constant from there on out.
The portion bags are different now too. They are really long and skinny. it looks like they have the same amount of filling as before just the bag size changed. They tin cost me $3.89 locally and they only have 15 portions in them so they are not that good of a deal.
In regards to nicotine, they are on the low side compared to normal portions (8mg per portion) but not that much lower.
I can't see myself using them daily but as a treat, they might have a place in my freezer. I could see myself grabbing one instead of grabbing an after dinner desert. Not sure if I could take the non-stop sweetness now but it does have an interesting flavor profile after the initial syrupy sweet hit.
One thing that is odd about the Camel portions is that the pouch itself is sweet too. I tore open a pouch to look at the filling and as far as I can tell it is just tobacco on a macro level. Since Camel doesn't list the ingredients I can't comment on a micro level.
