If you really like the flavors, then I would recommend not wasting your time or money on anything else but Skoal. As a "dipper" for more or less 20 years, I found that no other brands compare to Skoal or Copenhagen in tobacco quality, cut and/or comfort. Of course the downside is that they are the most expensive, as well.

The burn should go away after a few days regular use. Try to find a comfortable place in your lip for your go-to spot, but I would also recommend rotating it around so you don't develop any unwanted patches or lesions.
what to do, when the dip come up on my teeth and all over my underlip ?
its pretty anoying becouse it start get into my mouth and i have to spit like every 5 - 10 secs

First, try not to slobber so much.

Second, pack it tight with your fingers before putting it in your lip.

Third, keep spitting out any excess saliva and continuously compact the dip with your tongue. As you get the feel of it you will produce less saliva and be able to work it into a nice shape where it won't keep floating around like that. Until then, there is nothing to do except spit it out.

Through the years I've dipped in every possible spot of my lower lip, but for the least amount of saliva, ability to keep it in place and discretion I found that as far back as possible against your very back bottom molars is the most ideal for me. Your mileage may vary.

I have been using Copenhagen long-cut when I need a change from snus. I upper-lip it and swallow the juice (much less juice than bottom lip),and it is fantastic. IMO, copenhagen w/ a cup of coffee is an unbeatable combo. Say what you will about American moist-snuff, but no one can touch the flavor profile of Copenhagen, and the texture of the tobacco. It is truely a premium tobacco.

P.S. I know this is a snus forum, so I am sorry if anyone is mad at me for talking-up Copenhagen.

          MN-

I always hated Cope, but after my rotten General experience, I have used it almost exclusively. OTOH, I used to dip Skoal mint, which even after 9 months would still cut my lip up, whereas Cope never has. As someone who used to dislike it also, I can say it is an acquired taste for sure. But I don't think anyone will hate on you for talking about it since this is a primarily smokeless tobacco site. I don't think we've ever been very exclusive to people plugging alternative products. BTW, I need to PS that Cope snuff is not nearly as tasty as long cut, which is much finer cut than any other long cut anyway.

I always thought this to be very odd. I though that snuff and long-cut came from the same tobacco (flavorings, etc) just cut differently. IMO long-cut tastes much better than snuff. IDK why. Anyone got a theory?

The different cuts might let you get flavor faster or slower out of it, so you get either a large amount of flavor that quickly mellows out or a consistent amount of flavor until the end. Personally I liked long cut better, but I'd still prefer snus over dip. Could never swallow the juice without feeling sick, and having to keep a spitter around got annoying. To each their own, though.
