Hahah thanks for cheering me up with translations.. I understood what the traslator meant, although it's not really accurate. "I am sure you will enjoy it" - it would be correct to say "Siguran sam da ćeš uživati" or "Siguran sam da će ti se svidjeti ovdje".

But I'm totally off-topic now, sorry ops:

Great then.. Since I'm already here, I'd like to say that snus is a great discovery for me. I feel better and healthier and haven't smoked for about month and a half. Before that I smoked for about 10 years (on and off), mostly regular cigarettes, and than I switched over to RYO about two years ago. I found RYO to be a step towards quitting because of time and procedure needed to make a cigarette.. And I enjoyed variety of tastes which I couldn't get with regular cigarettes, all those aromas, different papers, tips, tobacco packages etc.. With snus I'm experiencing something similar, plus I'm not having a sore throat in the morning and I feel better overall. Plus all the great colorful cans Got no need to light a cigarette either. I might buy a pack of Luckies in future just to remind myself of the bad (mental) habit I'm trying to beat with snus.. And succeeding in that..

A little update from me, I went through a can or two of some other brands, so here's my usual short review and a grade for each:

Pall Mall original - I found nothing *that* special in it, it gets bitter and burns my throat sometimes, but it's an unobtrusive, good everyday snus - 3,5
Lucky Strike original - moist (I like that), nice initial buzz, like Pall Mall it is bitter and heavy on my throat, but I feel more smoke in it, which I like somehow.. - 3,5
Jakobsson's classic - too similar to Goat Rape in my opinion, and I don't like Goat Rape.. I give it a slightly higher grade just because it's not white portion (which I also don't like) - 2,5
Gotlandssnus yellow - dries my mouth quickly and I find it quite bitter and again, sometimes similar to Goat Rape.. But somehow, slightly better. It also tastes like Nivea creme sometimes 2,5 because of this "better" factor and better portion material
Phantom classic - I hate it and I hate it, yuck.. "Classic tobacco flavour" my ass... I feel only flowers in it. Makes me nauseous and I feel like throwing up. I don't even have to mention the odd pouch material.. 1,5 just because it saved me this weekend when I was drinking and ran out of Ettan..

That's it for now.. Will post again once I try the rest in my fridge :P

Supposedly, Phantom loose is a lot better. I have my doubts though because the portions of both Original and Blue make me want to hurl. DON'T try elixyr either...it isn't good. I also don't care much for offroad, but I like certain flavors like cranberry strong and icemint is okay.

Thanks for recommendations.. I was just wondering if Offroad has the same pouch material as Phantom, since it's also made by V2? I'd like to try Wintergreen and Apple..

Yes, all v2 portions I've tried are all the same, and Elixyr is similar as well. Although sagedil says that the Thunder portions are slightly more confortable, and I've heard good things about it from everyone. I'll have to try it myself in my next order.

BTW. I finally tried my first loose today.. Roda Lacket. I must say that I'm proud of myself because I baked my first pris with great success - it wasn't falling apart at all and remained in great shape even after an hour in my mouth 8)

Man, it made me dizzy, what a hit.. Can't even imagine how stark loose feels like

                        A slight update...

I have to mention in the beginning - I just don't see myself using loose snus right now. Tried Roda Lacket and General and although I liked it a bit, I found it very messy and unconvenient for everyday use, even when at home. So I'll stick with portions for now. Maybe some day..

All right, short reviews of portion snus:

Kronan original - so far the best of all flowery snuses I had, it's nothing special but a good cheap mellow everyday snus - 3
Claq Qui - now this one I really like, really pleasant although it lacks the nic hit I was expecting, but the taste (which lasts very long!) reminded me of some candy from childhood I can't remember right now, I will definitely explore this one more - 3,5
Level - believe it or not, I don't find it that disguisting. Sure it tastes a little odd and artificial in the beginning but I kinda see myself ordering another can or two sometime in the future - 3
Retro original - can't really say anything bad about this one, except that it tastes a little artificial at times which reminded me of PM 1847, but not that intense. Good all-around snus - 3,5

I'm down to only 3 cans (Grov, Granit, Gustavus) so I feel it's a great time to order some more, I was thinking about Catch Eucalyptus, Oden's Cinnamon, Thunder, Onyx, maybe something wintergreen as well.. Please feel free to write your reccomendations.. Thanks!

If you want wintergreen, thunder wintergreen is the way to go imo. The only other one I know of is general and the thunder blows it away. The only general I use is onyx. Odens cinnamon is excellent.

Thanks, will try Thunder Wintergreen, it was on my to-buy list but I had to check first
